DISTRICT 9 Alien Prawn 1/1 bust

Finally finish with my scratch built District 9 Alien Prawn bust

Made from scratch and just reference picture , first carved out from foam ...then stiffed with plaster band , then clay .
Got some 70 mm glasseyes , and scaled it from them .

here are some early stage pics ..and up to the finish bust

That's amazing, nice work. I just watched that again yesterday, forgot how well they did the effects in that movie. :thumbsup

When are you doing the rest of the body? :lol

I love it myself ...top 10 movie

Thanks laellee ...would have been awesome to make a fullsize statue ...but i think they are 220 cm high hmmm

Ah man sorry dude it was me :/ Im sure you will get one at some point.
I used to have a really nice latex bust but sold him :( always regretted it.

Thanks man will do. Certainly is a small world. the detail on that statue is crazy.

If you ever were to offer this painted, unpainted, id be interested :)

I will do :) made this for myself ...but i could think about it

also if you are selling the Statue ....you have a buyer hehe ;)
