You know, I posted my little rant back on page 17, walked away from the computer shaking my head, sat down on the couch and my girlfriend asked me
"What were you laughing about in your office?"
I said
"Prop drama."
She smiled and chuckled and asked
"That gun from Blade Runner?"
I replied
"Yeah, I think someone is trying to control how free people post pictures from a public event on a public message board, all for thier own personal financial gain. It's pretty sickening."
She said
"Yeah, people get crazy when money is involved. They could care less about freedom and rights and stuff."
I smiled "Yeah, rights. That's a good one."
:unsure
Then we watched Rockstar. :thumbsup

Please understand. I was contacted by the owner and asked to pull the
Photos.
I felt that if he has not spoken to Karl, then I was not going to give up
Karl, I felt if trouble happens I would try to protect Karl and take the heat
myself.[/b]
So say NO. They were not your photos to post or to pull, and what do you have to lose?
Rich, I have to say this, but I think Karl is a grown man. Protect him from what exactly? A law suit? A post in this thread? A phone call? A
dreaded private message? Who do you think you are to ask anyone to pull photos that ain't yours, some of the coolest photos ever, and then try and act like a victim? Was Karl threatened in some way?
I feel compelled to add this, but should I
ever be
lucky enough to snap clear photos of the hero gun from blade runner please do not try and protect me. In fact forward my number to the owner directly and let me broker my own de . . . UH,
discuss the matter with them myself. :angel
This isn't even any of my business, why do I feel like I've been gut punched?
:confused :confused

:cry
I'd love to see the owner of the gun, if reading this oh so controversial thread that is upsetting the collectors on high, register and post. Please stop hiding.
