Hey everyone,
Just thought I’d post some pics of the Anders PKD I just finished for a friend. It’s been a long arduous process in that I started with a crappy resin kit about 13 years ago, moved to an FDM version (printed on an Ender 3 with PLA) - which warped in the heat, then to a resin process (AnyCubic Photon S) and finally I moulded a few parts in silicone and cast them in pewter.
I built the 44 rounds from brass cases stuffed with pewter shavings for weight, the resin rounds polished with graphite powder and the bottoms were the made from LEGO studs. A big shout out to DaveChaos at Tip Top Workshop for supplying some of the smaller pewter parts.
