IWhy are the gauntlets silver? They clash with the rest of the suit - and for what reason?

Because the are supposed to be according to comic book lore. The girdle and lasso are gold(en). From a design standpoint, maybe mixing metals isn't good, but you'd have more fan(boys) crying foul if they were gold.

I actualy kinda like the outfit, yes it is way to shiny, but as a father of girls who will probably want to dress up as her one day, I like the modest long pants look.

It looks like Rubies made the costume

Those were my exact words to Art when he showed it to me. Just too much shine to the whole suit. Like the pants idea but they should have varied the material used a bit to break it up some.

My take ? This was made by somebody who was frustrated their store-bought costume doesn't look like the real thing.

I'll be honest and say the basic costume isn't too bad. It's still WW and I can live without the 1940's patriotic Old Glory panties.

And thank the great prop maker in the sky they didn't use black or "urbanified" the costume. It looks like a superhero costume.

BUT, it looks way too cheap. It needs richer materials and some chroming of those "metal" elements, looks like somebody took a can of sparkly car-spray to them. Those pants do look like they would split wide open at the crotch the moment she makes a long step ...

I'm sure the people here could take the same basic design and make it look like a million dollars, rather than a store-bought outfit.

And my inner fashion designer is screaming "Red boots dahling, red boots ..."

Jared Padelecki is 6'5" so most of the cast has to be tall so they can even be in frame with him. They always cast height to the leads.

Wow, I didn't know she was 5' 11". I just remember her as short.

It's better than what I expected but personally I like my Wonder Woman to not have pants
