Doesn't look much like the Wonder Woman I grew up with. I still say Linda Carter is HOT!!! :love
Someone needs to teach her to make more heroic faces, instead of that grimace.
Lynda Carter is still tops. Also, Megan Gale looks far closer to Wonder Woman than this actress. Wonder Woman is one of the big heroes, she should be on the big screen.
Judging from the latest news from the DC/Warners folks, they're not only planning on making a Wonder Woman movie unrelated to the tv show, they're apparently also planning on making a Justice League movie. At least, that's what's making the rounds on the various comic book movie news web sites (superherohype.com, comicbookmovie.com, etc.). I HOPE it's true and they actually do it... at least I feel that way right now... might be regretting it if it happens and isn't done well.![]()
As to some other comments, I think the classic Lynda Carter style costume doesn't necessarily make sense but it has a charm to it. I still maintain there IS a way to keep the basic design but translate it into a good, serious, live action character.
For a movie, I think a design like this would work quite well...

And I have to post this for no reason other than I just find it humorous :lol

I doubt it. I'm betting SERIOUS glue/tape and some kind of covers underneath the bustier. Or they just tell her to run slowly because they're shooting that in slow-mo anyway.
Are you kidding? nipslips happen all the time while filming. I remember being on the first Pirates set and I'd say it took a week before I knew everything Kira Knightly had to offer - not much, but enough for me to enjoy it. Especially when she was in that thin white dress when she first sees the Pirates are ghosts - that thing was practically see thru. Now that I think about it - i can't remember one set where some sort of "malfunction" didn't occur.:love
Yup, completely agree! Now, see, something like THIS I could get behind. It's got the elements I want to see in the costume, it's practical, and it reflects her Greek origins beautifully.
