Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Hey there soulinertia. Can you post a photo of the back please. And if you happened to take any progress photos especially of the base where the leather sits and is stretched over and bucklaced down.

You can see a pic of the back in the Junkyard. I did take some progress pics. Let me dig those up. :thumbsup

I found the pics of the leathernext upcoming jacket not sure maybe the fit is wrong

Yeah...The fit is a touch too small....It's meant to be close, and on the open front photo, it's good..But zipped up there's just a little less space than would be ideal.....The back is also a touch narrower than mine I think...The shoulders extend a touch wider on Dan's design, and make the back seem far wider than on this jacket, but the front is a decent enough copy if sized correctly I suspect!

Does anyone know anything about Leather Next? The Wolverine Jacket they have on Ebay looks very nice for someone like me on a budget. The title of the listing is LEATHER NEXT Wolverine X-Men Origins Leather Jacket Replica Size Lg NEW if anyone wants to check it out and tell me what they think. i would appreciate it.

I may also look into Wolverinejacket.com for one. I cannot afford a Vanson or anything along those lines.

Filmjackets.com ? View topic - LEATHERNEXT / LEATHERNEXT.COM

Again.....Dodgy enough to be left well alone....May be ok, probably not....Either way, caveat emptor.....

I kinda lean in the dodgy enough side of things

I used to own their XO which to be fair was a nicely constructed jacket although the stitching wasn't that great on it

Logans closet are going to be doing an affordable version soon with a short turn around my plan is to wait for that

especially seeing how awesome the prototype is in your pics :)

Affordable? Did I miss something here? Is he doing something new?

They are going to use a different maker in the us and oversees which will bring down the costs and speed up production

good times

Wait, so it won't be vanson anymore? I don't like that idea...I'm willing to pay the 600 bucks because I know first hand the craftsmanship. Vanson's are tanks and wouldn't fall apart for a lifetime.

No vanson will still be an option
they are just giving more options for us there's an announcement on filmjackets very interesting

Regarding LetherNext out of the UK. I had good success with them. I'm Canadian, but I had a friend go over to the UK (not specifically for the jacket), and she went to their shop, with my measurements. In about a week the order was done, and she brought it back to Canada. I would not hesitate to use them again. Here is a pic of the jacket - at the recent Calgary Comic Con - (with Colossus).

Ohhhh, I'll go check it out. Fifth, your XO looks different from mine, was that a vanson?

Yup....It's a Vanson....Just a little differently coloured.....The leather also was a special selection, since it's somewhat lighter and softer than the "usual" Dan uses for the X0...We'd talked about it and I'd said that since the X1 I have is heavyweight, I was open to that again, but would prefer a somewhat lighter jacket....And Dan had Vanson use some medium weight cowhide instead of the usual heavyweight on mine.....That's about the only difference I think....

I know I would never be able t afford a Vanson, but I like the idea that Logan's Closet will have more affordable options. I guess we'll wait and see.

Anyone buy from Woverinejacket.com? Were you happy with it?

I've had a few requests to show some progress pics, so here' goes . . .

Holy sweet crap that's brilliant........

If only you had a factory line of poorly paid workers to allow you to discount these for us......

Bloody brilliant work

Who says there isn't enough of us to get a run going to lower the price? We got a belt with mags and now this...I think we are all set.
