Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Hi all.
I finally ended up to buy a Danson XO jacket which was available at the shop...I'm still waiting some news from Dan as I asked for a more distressed look and the jacket was supposed to ship last week but since then, no news !!!
I will keep you posted and will post pics asap.

I got my red-sleeved X-1 from Dan today. I love it. Unlike last time, this one is pristine. I look forward to beating the hell out of it.

Too bad it was quite hot today. It didn't stop me from wearing it, though.

I want one! The jacket looks perfect.

Heron have a website and a subsidiary in Chile but this proyect was taked by Jorge himself, a very nice guy, he authorized me to publish these pictures.

I hope you can enjoy this like i do. When the jacket arrives, promise to take some more pics.

I ordered it last October, and I got it on whatever date I posted those pictures. I think it took about six months.

There used to be a great 2 part interview with James Gawley "Jimmy Claws" about his work making the claws for the films but the link appears to be dead now.

I have most of them saved from this interview including some shots of the claws in this exhibit-

Looks like these were made to push through a prosthetic rubber fist to get the "over extended" look.

I tried to find the interview on the internet archive as well to no luck. I think he mentions these claws in the piece.

It is a shame they didn't get the second page. That is the one that had all the good info about the wearable claws. There was a measurement that was posted there that I just went looking for but alas the site is down. The told everyone exactly how many inches apart the claws were from each other and mentioned that they were constantly checking the distance between claws for continuity.

If anyone has save the webpage or any of the info about the claws in particular that measurement I mentioned then please share.

The leather is 1.3mm also, the standard is fashion leather in the production line is 0.9mm if i'm not wrong.

So I received my XO jacket from Dan and once again, it is a marvellous jacket. Dan made a fantastic job with the distressing and the jacket was really comfortable right out of the box. I added my little touch on the sleeves and some kiwi polish on the stripes and that's it !!!

How strange.

Anyway, barring anything unforeseen, I should be ordering an X-3 from Dan in a few weeks. That'll take me to 3/5 of the Wolverine jackets. Yes, I'm counting the red-sleeved X-1 prototype as a separate jacket. I hope there's a jacket in the next movie, although my wallet hopes there isn't.

He sells them for $600. You can add $150 more if you want it distressed and the shipping costs to your place !!!
