heres a semi recent pic with my facial hair, I still need to style mostly growing it out for length then Ill trim and shave some of it.

Those look like the ones (minus the black wood grips) you can get a pair for $30.

11" Wolverine Claw Fantasy Dagger Unsharpened Edge

I've seen people selling and buying them for much more on ebay. I'm not really sure why. I've already decided to pass on them because the blades are evenly spaced from each other (the outside blades do not V out like the ones in the movie). Another problem I've seen from others who show them in photos is that the tend not to fit against the hand very well unless you have large hands. You can see what I mean here: More Wolverine Claws – A Production Prop.

The section that comes over the knuckles as much as some of the better fan made ones that I've seen.

BTW: I think they are the same ones used in the SNL sketch I posted above.

which ones are you thinking of picking up?

I'm still just playing with the idea. I've been looking at the different items. I know very little about which are the best out there. I know about the interest thread in the JY and those look promising.

Did anybody check out the two new japanese animes based on xmen and wolverine solo series

Wolverine Anime
Looks like they went for the red jacket in this one but Im not really digging the super slender look

Skinny Wolverine with a mullet just looks wrong. The second version isn't bad, but he's a little tall.

I agree, mullet logan just doesnt look right at all, and having watched the anime, I wasnt to impressed. way to much talking and not enough action, its like watching DBZ all over again.

Havent watched the Xmen anime yet but the fact that cyclops is flaming and random japanese girl mutant is just makes think "like wtf?"

Mulleverine. hehe.
I saw the trailers a year and a half ago, and liked the Ironman, but was utterly disgusted with the Wolverine version. Not sure I like the X-Men one either, but I see Halle Berry made a cameo in anime form.

as for stylin my chops, I really just let them grow. Mine are about two and a half weeks of growth (I'm a burly man) Yours look good just gotta get the hair going and people will know who you are!

I caught the first episodes of the Wolverine and Iron Man Anime on G4 this morning. I enjoyed them, although Logan did seem to come off a bit flat. Tony Stark's egomaniacal playboy character was pretty enjoyable, though.

I think the problem with Logan is they gave him such a generic look that until he pops the claws you wouldn't be able to differentiate him from any other Anime character. Honestly, I think if you showed people a still of him from this show, they wouldn't have any idea who he is. He has a way more distinct look in the various comic, animated, and movie adaptations.

I totally agree. The anime artists maintained the same concepts as generic as the rest, but worst of all Marvel approved that concept. I love the Marvel characters, the art and writing, but corporate Marvel can eat $hit.

All the minute details getting tweaked the wrong way, it's like they're personally messing with my childhood. I know...I take this way too seriously. :lol

Hey Mara Jade's Father,
Any updates on those X1/X2 dogtags yet?

Not yet. It was National Day in China. They celebrate it from 1 to 7 Oct so they are a bit behind. I'm hoping I get the quote very soon. Other than dealing with holidays, the process is pretty smooth.

Anyone heard from jeggs? I sent him a PM last week and have not heard anything back. I've had better luck with PMs than email so I opted for that route.

Yeah I heard about the rated R thing too. I hope they do. I'm hoping this will be the Incredible Hulk to the Hulk as I hope this can be for Origins. It has potential, I just hope this isn't just wishful thinking...

Didn't the DVD for Die Hard 4 put back in all the 'proper' swearing and more violence? I would assume that they would go down that route rather than have two releases.

:lol Yeah we're all 12-15 here. :p
From what I gathered. The film will be releasing the PG-13 and R rating in the theater at the same time, or at least that's what was alluded to.

For those that have ordered a belt and or a watchband, the shipping day for Tuesday as promised will have to be postponed until Thursday. Hopefully this cold/allergy combo thing I have, will be gone by the end of today. So apologize for the delay.
