Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Ok just stumbled across this the strangest wolverine jacket ever on amazon Germany lol

:lol heck no, I'd rather see the red leather jacket from the Wolverine Anime, with some sorta stripes added to resemble the film ones haha

I managed to save enough to order one of the Wolverine (future past) jackets from Dan yesterday, so he's sending it out now and once it's here I'll post pics....It's summer now, so too hot to wear...But it's a lovely looking jacket....Well excited to get it....

You're a 42? I thought you were a 40? The half and half jacket would be a neat costume thing...Half old wolverine and half younger one if done right.

@ the other guy: On the canon bit, yes they're all still canon because if you can't just watch DOFP by itself. It would be stupid and not make sense. It resets the timeline up until after a certain point, yes, but the movies prior are still the reason why we even have that movie. And I think the events of TW still happened in the new timeline only we didn't get the depressed wolverine bit, remember, he still saves Yashida in the 40s still so he is probably still sought out for his powers. I''d like to think all the movies happened still, but it just happened a little diffrently

Nah, I'm a 44 in Dan's sizing.. I ordered the 44 he had up on eBay until yesterday..

And yeah, costume wise I can see it would work.. Partially.. Although I still see no real reason to go half and half.. Still.. They're German.. It might be their "humour"...

True, without X1-3, XO, TW - there would be no DOFP. That's obvious.

But even if they all still "happened" they happened slightly or drastically different, therefore they are canon, until you watch DOFP and no longer canon after watching DOFP. Now, they have been retconned. Any movie aside from FC and the first half of XO, now only exist in Logan's memories.

I see it somewhat akin to what JJ Abrams is about to do to the EU of Star Wars. 30 years of EU that's been considered canon is now going to be thrown out the window thanks to Ep. 7-9. Sure, some things will be similiar or even familiar, but the EU novels, etc will not ever be considered canon again, even if pieces of 7-9 only exist thanks to the EU.

I finally saw it!!

Loved it! The end scene was great too! And emotions ran high! Although I have to admit, since it was a second date with a girl that I'm falling for hard here, my attention wasn't 100%...I'll be going tomorrow or Sunday alone to make sure I take it all in properly....

But I frickin' loved it...And I appreciate what they did to tie up the loose ends as much as they could....Well played..

Two version of these claws were used in the production, depending on the requirements for the scene. One pair were crafted of metal and the others of rubber. Both were carefully painted to give them the "Admantium" sheen. These are the hero rubber versions worn by Jackman. Each three blade set (one marked "R" and the other "L"), are attached to the custom made knuckle holds and metal palm base.

The hero claws come directly from "X-Men: Days Of Future Past" producer Lauren Shuler Donner.

Unfortunately the closest thing to the first 70's shirt, that I have found is this. The pattern is off by a lot.

I perfer the more muted pattern and snaps that Hugh's shirt has. I guess his shirt was custom like the other shirts that have been ID'ed. Oh, well.

Also, there is apparently a Hugh Jackman Wolverine robot that was used a little in DOFP.

And, here is a decent shot of the shirt,belt, and buckle.

Not 700,- ... 350- on ebay. Exactly the same glasses. Just search for "Oliver Peoples Sandford Gold - Brown". Got them for 329,- and will have them here by the end of next week. Pics will follow.

I have no idea how they work the prices for things out here.. One thing I'm sure on, is that because the prices get set before sale, nowhere undersells.. Which means all things are more or less the same price, all the time..
Makes it consistent.. But consistently high.. Lol
