Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Yeah it is a stretch, I'm just saying it could work with the timeline the films have given us. It has to be 1973 when he meets Stryker and he wakes up in 1973 and Styrker doesn't know him so it is logical that he has not met him yet. He shows no signs of being in Vietnam, but then again why would he?
He literally says he will wake up in God knows where. Indicating he does not remember 1973, so he probably has no idea he was even involved in the war. I still think it just happened to be his down time. All this is extremely convenient for the story though, I'm just trying to piece together a community that is screwed up. lol.

True about it being a stretch. As far as his memories.. whats weird though is that in "The Wolverine" he has memories of WWII and doesn't seem surprised by it.
Also if 3 mile was in 1979... that puts the first Xmen in 1994....... definitely not the "near future", hahaha.

Though, ALL the flashbacks DOFP Logan had of Stryker were from X2...... so it makes me wonder if Singer was purposefully deleting Origins.

You do realize that the 3 mile island incident was a real event in 1979 right? I really would not use a wiki for a reference to when Wolverine meets Strkyer. You're right that messes up the It's been almost 15 years thing from X-1. Honestly Wolverine seems to remember things if it works in the story's favor, so I guess he remembering WW2 is just a case of that. lol
There is a clip to Victor breaking Wolverine's bone claws and a clip of Wolverine in the tank from X-O spliced in with X-2 footage in DOFP, so X-O happened in Wolverine's mind and was canon until this movie. You are right they never showed X-O Strkyer. The events are going to be a lot different now because this changes everything since 1973 (which is most of Origins except young James killing his father and the War Montage happened even in the new timeline up to Vietnam because that seems to have happened in 1973 because it fits with 3 mile island.

Yes, I'm aware 3 mile incident was a real event, I stated IF the movie had it set in 1979 only because it places X1 in 1994 which not only takes place 6 years before the movie, it's most definitely not the near future.
And let's be honest, it's never stated AS that incident or that island nor was the damage anywhere near as epic as Logan caused... therefore it could just be a made up nuclear power plant. ;-)

The only reason I use the wiki reference is it had to come from somewhere... why would the author randomly pick 1975? I thought maybe it was in an official script or even in the official novelization. If he did first meet stryker in 1975 it would fit better with DOFP just not with the 1979 three mile incident. That's all I meant.
and I saw the memory montage in DOFP also, but none were specifically from the Weapon X program, showed Victor, XO STryker, etc. All the weapon X flashbacks were from X1 / X2. That's why, atleast to me, it feels that Singer was leaving out XO on purpose.
But again, it's just little things that I'm sure Fox and singer don't care about...... I doubt there was any attempt to actually make sense of it all.

Hi everyone. I've been scouring the internet for a few weeks now looking for some really good Wolverine dog tags. Specifically the Canadian dog tags. I've seen some great pictures on this thread, but can anybody tell me where I can actually buy them?

I've created a profile on here simply to aid my search, so any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

I paid around 15 dollars for it. Also on an related note they have one of the screen used tags up on ebay for 6000.

I edited my first post with the picture. A lot of times I can't get my photos to load. You should be able to see it now. I wished they had one like I bought on ebay right now, it was cheap, but it is decent quality.

Ahhh, I see it now, thanks.

They're really nice, exactly the kind of thing I was looking for.

I saw that somebody was selling one of the original props, but unfortunately it's just a little out of my price range....

Member here "Mara Jade's Father" did a run a couple of years ago and they came out amazing, had the right size, font, thickness and metal type for aging. Sadly, last time I heard, that was a one-time run. Maybe if you contact him, he can point you to the maker as they still might have the mold available for reproduction.

Yeah, it's a lot of money, but cool. They have one that is 15.00 dollars on ebay, but it appears more bronze in color then mine. It could be lighting though or the flash of the camera. (thumbnail is a picture of the 15 dollars one.)
I don't own one, but I have heard truenorthtrader on ebay makes a great product it is more expensive though then a lot of the other replicas of the tag.

All the movies prior to DOFP are still canon, IDK why everybody has their head shoved up their ass about that.

How can Any of them be canon anymore?
DOFP changed and altered all these things:
Stryker knowing about Logan before they officially meet
Mistique finding Logan in the bottom of the river, therefore Logan and Mistique knowing and possibly work together.
Logan obviously not in Vietnam in 1973
Xavier not walking once again (though shown walking in X3 WITH his powers)
Xavier and Magneto being friends and running the school together shown in X3, which FC and DOFP have never supported
Cyclops and Jeans death
Logan being depressed and distraught over Jeans death, thus leading to "The Wolverine"

Even the writer himself stated that it did change things.
"The end of Days of Future Past in 1973 does change the timeline of the established film universe. But one of the things we posit in the film is the immutability of time. So what you see at the end is a future that has been shifted but not completely transformed. Our characters are back in the mansion, as we saw them in X1-3, with some obvious changes (like certain characters being alive). So the answer is yes and no. Yes it changes the timeline. No it doesn’t completely erase everything…”
Therefore though they may be more or less the same, there are some obvious differences. So those movies are still canon in the essence that though they still "happened" they only "happened" now in Logan's head.

The key word is "prior" in the post you quoted from comonbub. I'm not sure why he used "All films" though. It's just one that is chronologically (story wise) before DOFP.
This film does not affect First Class the opening scene of X-O up until Vietnam and the WW2 Japan scenes in The Wolverine. You are correct with everything in the spoiler tag though. Nice post it sums up everything changed! Also, I find it interesting that Jean had the Phoenix looking hair when Logan goes to touch her, so that may support that yes she still became Phoneix, just didn't kill Scott or Xavier and didn't die herself.
Also, I'm not sure if this is helpful, but I zoomed in on the buckle and the white parts look distressed.
