Witch King of Angmar

definitely jealous. My witch king outfit looks way too plain and fake feeling after looking at this.... Sadly I only have the tools/funds to work with bondo/cardboard. Props on the outfit, definitely set the bar on homemade replicas that I have seen.

Thank you so much for the compliments. The materials themselves didnt really cost that much. It cost around $45 for the 2 sheets of 22 ga steel from the local steel supplier. The tools were around $150 or $200 but I have them now and can use them for future projects so that was a good investment. The time was the most valuable part of this build. Around 400 hours total!

The armor looks really good, I've always dreamed of this armor in real metal, and you've made it true. I think you should ditch the sword though and make a steel one, since this looks really fake and it doesn't fit with your really awesome armor.

I have to agree with markkNL, the sword does look a bit out of place...

But other than that, this costume is awesome! I'm digging the leg armor. :)

Hello all
I wish to make a full Witch King costume for myself.
I already have the Helmet PDO file.
Is there othere PDO or templets file like the gauntlet, armor, boots, shoulder armor, etc.
Thank you for your time

I have to admit that when I clicked on this I didnt expect much......I have to say this is hands down, one of the BEST BUILDS I have ever seen!!!!

How much time do you suppose you have into this?

Great work on this. I'm trying to get my own finished for next summer's conventions. There are a few ideas I'm toying with for the armor, but what I'm wondering is whether or not you think that working the 22g steel is doable for someone who has no experience working with it?

Fine work. I do have a question though. I did a similar build of a Nazgul/Ringwraith. (My problem is keeping the leg portions in place. What kind of suspension did you use?
Thanks

Excellent costume, bro...good work, and quite impressive.

I would be interested in knowing about this aspect, too.

I wear black jeans with a thick leather belt then use (2) leather straps with attached to the belt attaching to the top of the legs to keep them from drooping down as I walk

I'll be darned...that's the same method I use to keep my Mandalorian thigh armor in the correct position; it never occurred to me to use the same for the Nazgul armor. ;)

Thanks!

Rob
