WIP - Arkham Knight model for Pepakura

Hey All if you change the file extention from .bin to .pdo it will open in pep veiwer, this can be done in command prompt with the following commands

-cd downloads (you have to be in the user directory already)
-rename "Arkham Knight version 1 Base Model.bin" "Arkham Knight version 1 Base Model.pdo"

Thanks buddy... appreciate the help.

Hey RavenH8rt... thanks, always willing to help where I can.

For my Iron Man Helmet I used the following which I could get at a local Auto Body Supply store...

General Purpose resin with Fibre glass matt
MicroLight Light Weight Body Filler
StopperFine 500 ( Substitute for spot putty)

The only difference on the Arkham Knight build is I'm using U-Pol FlyWeight body filler, which sets way harder than the other stuff I used.

That's a brief run down... let me know if you need any other info, I'll probably have some questions to ask you too... nice to have another local to share info / ideas with.

Bandiet - sent you a pm with a link to your foam unfold of your helmet. When you post it up I would like to share your link with others. Thank you for the awesome job on this.

Thank you very much for the approval to be able to let people enjoy it! - The scale was large so measure measure measure....

I'm looking into EL wire for the eyes... not too sure yet. I love the Deathstroke helmet... wanted to build it before I came across the AK villain and then got carried away with 3D modeling. ...

Awesome work, Bandiet! Thanks for sharing your hard work, and thanks to the unwrappers!
I can't wait to get started on this!

Update :

Got the ears fibreglassed... warping was a smaller problem than I anticipated, but the heat gun was still needed to tidy it up a bit.

The eyes have been cut out, but still need some work, then its time to get the helmet smooooth as possible.

Started checking on the alignment of the ears so that the guide holes can be drilled.

Hi Bandiet,

Are you going to PEP the whole suit?

Hey RavenH8rt,

I actually started "playing" around with the chest a little earlier today... no promises though.

I've got a Star Wars trooper build to do ( Vacuum Former should be done in the next week or so ), my Iron Man MK4 is still in progress and of course the Arkham Knight helmet... and then of course I have my day job as well... so time is limited.

I'll post a screen shot of the WIP chest a little later... let's see how it goes.
