Osnaburg cotton would be a pretty good choice for the wrap parts. The outer robe would almost require a blanket.
The tea dyes and Rit dyes look great, but there's a really easy way to dye things brown. It's called potassium permanganate. They use it to clear out iron from swimming pools. It comes in a little grains. A little of it diluted in water will get you quick, permanent results without the need of hot water.
Also, I make 303 Lee-Enfield bandoliers in the Arab Revolt style so if you guys need some high-quality (and screen accurate) replicas, let me know.
I might try that method. Still waiting on the Clothears Robe to finish a Tusken bust with my Godzilla kit.
I won’t start untill I know the final colors of the robe.
Do you have pictures or a website showing your bandoliers?
