As most of you know, my favorite trilogy is the BTTF films :cool
Whats your favorite trilogy?
Jason. :)

Easy. The Star Wars original trilogy (the theatrical versions, that is).

But I have to agree with Lost in Trek that the Toy Story trilogy is arguably the most consistent.

I'd have to go with Lord of the Rings, and I was never into the books. Which, based on a lot of complaints I read about the movies, was probably a good thing, Since I didn't have anything to compare them against, I was able to enjoy them on their own merit. I thought all 3 were solid films.

Tied with the Toy Story trilogy and The Star Wars original trilogy, that I have on VHS, so originally right after they got out of the theater, I hate the remastered ones, but if I had to choose, Star Wars.

My favorite is the original three George Romero living dead movies. "Day of the Dead" still gets watched a couple of times a month. I know not alot of people agree with me but "Day" is my favorite zombie flick of all time.

BOURNE!!!!!!! The Bourne trilogy is by far the best.....every single movie was great in their own way

BTTF is close, but I find the second film to be a little too weak compared to the first and third....

Toy Story is great as well, but number 3 reminded me way too much of brave little toaster...just an updated version of it...wish it was more original.....

star wars is great, however.......EWOKS....HOW can they take down the empire....tiny little fury animals with sticks

Original Star Wars, Evil Dead, and not a trilogy proper but the man with no name Leone/Eastwood films.

Here's one that I'm particularly proud of.

The Star Trek Motion Picture Trilogy that comprises II, III and IV. These movies have great themes, character moments, adventure, and it comes complete with a prologue (TOS Season 1 episode "Space Seed") and epilogue (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country).

It's one of those trilogies that were made when every film was made to be self-contained since when they made Star Trek III, they didn't know what the next story would be. When you watch Star Trek IV, everything that III set up pays off wonderfully in IV. The Bird of Prey was a perfect vehicle that complimented the story to IV that you would think was the reason why they included it, which it wasn't. It could land, cloak and maneuver in atmosphere the way the Enterprise couldn't.

I also like how M'Ress' species makes an appearance at the end.

I think what I'm learning here is how rare trilogys where all three films can deliver on a decent level are.

Waiting to see how the final Nolan Batman film turns out, I'll add that to my list hopefully, but history is not on it's side is it?

Mine is the Indiana Jones Trilogy.
BTTF is second, and Star Wars Original Theatricals are third. Then, there's also the Lost in Space Trilogy... Of Broadcast Seasons. :lol
