Re: What's on your workbench?
I'm getting ready to move house, boat, and shop from Northern to Southern California. I got a wild hair in the process and decided to pull bunch of my works-in-progress out and set them on the bench the other day.
Here's a big chunk of the mess on the workbench:
This is mostly just the masks, helmets, and heads. I didn't have the energy to haul out all the armor and weapons.
Once the moving is complete (after a sea voyage and a handful of other adventures) the wife and I will be buying a house which will finally have space to display my insanity.
I'm also continuing to make progress on the 40%-scale Sherman tank I've been building bit by bit over the past few years. Last week I managed to put together one of the tracks:
Unfortunately, the tank is a six-month project that has now taken five years. I still have to build the other tread, the final version of the main gun, the drive sprockets, the idler tensioners, and the transmission. Hopefully I'll have it running by next summer so I can drive it around and frighten my new neighbors...
