I'm not sure what the name of the rifle is, I was just in K-Mart one day and was like "Holy crap! That could be the Halo AR and its only $10!" For the slime, I just used $1 pink shampoo from Dollar Tree. It looks the part really well!

I'm not sure who the T.E.R. originally came from. I got it about 4 years ago from someone here in trade on some other SG stuff.

I agree, great SG stuff Dan. I think i'll have to rob your idea and make an 8ball grenade :D The staff is looking good aswell, any idea what you are going to use for doing the shaft part of the staff?

I have a metal shaft for it that I'll be sculpting the rest around. :)

Most impressive Zorg. I was thinking about trying my hand at a small studio set for some regular Youtube videos. Perhaps I'll get started over the weekend.

My workbench is a bit of a disaster right now:

In this picture you can see:
-the last half of my HALO armor yet to be built
-molds and castings of my kid-sized Fett helmets, ironman helmet, Loki mask, and HALO armor already done
-prototypes of my kid-sized HALO helmet, Mk7 Space Marine helmet, and other small parts
-replacement spreaders for my sailboat
-LOTS of dust

Time to clean now.

About finished with this suit.


These are the last two pieces.

Also need to paint that toy rifle to be a little more game accurate (gotta love cheap, rip-off toys:lol), and finish the helm mold.

Talky Tina, parts of custom figures that I keep getting distracted from, and costume parts that need to be repaired before the Baltimore comicon.

So far a lot of halloween stuff, but also a couple of things...

Metal gear solid Grey Fox helmet (from paper model to... Cardboard:lol)

And a new raygun:)

I've never seen a Grey Fox helmet, did you use pepakura, or just scratch build it?

Right now I'm working on repainting my sonic screwdriver, modding an airsoft Beretta into a Tetragrammaton cleric pistol, making myself all new leather gear at work for my Indy costume, and the big one: Gordon Freeman's HEV suit. I'll actually be posting a build thread for that one once I get closer to finishing it, otherwise you'd all get tired of reading about my numerous failures.

Yep, I pepakura-ed (YAY, new word!:D) it... Made the 3D model myself, then I did a first test just with regular paper, this is the "real" test:)

finished my proton pack mostly...(still needs some paint in a few places to hide fillers and the power cell light holder needs to be sanded down to make the lights straight and need to do something to make the cyclotron lights shine brighter) but yeah its pretty much done ;>_>

need to finish building my pke meter

Need to start on my stunt trap

need to paint my first storm trooper bucket ESB scheme

still have to start on my fang mystery helmet again ESB

one a side note does anyone know where i can find a good material for the visor and range finder stalk like at home depot or lowes?

also where can i find a good padding for the helmets?
