Re: What's on your workbench?

No pics as i only picked up the parcel this morning, but my current project is my new fibreglass (well grp) TK suit. shall be many months in the construction.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Let's see, currently:

• Full size Jawa with ION blaster (blaster courtesy of Korbanth)

• Machined Gaffi mace ends (if all goes well might do a run of them, so let me know if you are interested. They will be quite affordable)

• Luke ANH Saber

• Continually, in the background, a life size Tusken Raider

• The follow-up to the "My Tusky" doll, "My Trooper" doll

• Sculpting a vintage style Sleestak 12" doll/figure that I will create a mold from and produce a limited run of

• Remodeling/building up an FX trooper helmet

Future Projects:

• Salacious Crumb sculpt

• My interpretation of a unveiled Jawa head sculpt

• Something to do with a Dianoga! Maybe a half size scale version, 1/4 scale. ideas? Someone here did a nice model of just the eye coming up off of a plaque. Looked really good.

Re: What's on your workbench?

At the moment:
  • 2x Munson MultiPass kits
  • 1x other MultiPass kit
  • SIDKIT Metal Mal Pistol (I plan on getting this brass and nickel plated, then chemically aged, which will cost about $220 over here, I've been saving for this one for a while :thumbsup)

Re: What's on your workbench?

Friday the 13th part 8 latex undershirt for a friend, re-doing a Styrofoam head and painting a pile of fake guts.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Thanks, Matt! They're pretty easy to build up thanks to your instructions. Once I got pass the stepped styrene bit, everything else was a piece of cake!

Re: What's on your workbench?

More workspace and desktop but a custom build arcade machine for an indie flick, called "Altar of the Unnamed." My first commercial build and the titular game for the film. Still tweaking the software and getting the controls right. Hope to have functioning prototypes at the premieres. First time to my knowledge a videogame film actually allowed you to walk out of the theatre and right up to the arcade cab. Also the first time that film footage of the actor playing was real time gameplay on an original build (and not looped cgi). PC version to be released with the DVD (or at least that's the plan). The cabinet already travelled to and from the first shoot at the Funspot in Weirs Beach, NH (where some of "King of Kong" was filmed) and arrived back safe and sound this past week. The game has an illuminated laser-etched plexi as the control panel overlay courtesy of Philip (and easily the nicest, defining part of the cabinet). Very cool all around-

Re: What's on your workbench?

I got a chance to see Doc's Altar of the Unnamed game this past Sunday. Very impressive, looks great, and fun to play. Though quite a bit challenging. Especially quickly targeting those baddies that divide...

I sure hope the movie is as entertaining as the game.
