What's on your workbench? (no Star Wars, Marvel or DC stuff)

Just experimenting in making some Green Lantern rings. These things are impossible to find. I am still working on the Yellow ring, it is still in Blue wax.

Mkay...

Now I did not post this progress in my topic about it.
Doesn't seem fair as it lingers on for years now.
Will post there as soon as I got something finished to show, even if it is the lower jaw only. :rolleyes

Not sanded smooth yet.

Pretty pleased I'm back @ it again though.

Still need preferably an Online shop that sells sculpting foam (for the head rounded areas), as I can't seem to get my hands on it here in Holland.

Any tips appreciated!

Re: What's on your workbench?

Working on a 3d model of Stark's first Arc Reactor with plans to build it in plastic after completion.

Here's my third test render (I'm also posting this on 4chan) for the thing, only been working on it today.

I know it's inaccurate (9 slots instead of 8 between each arm on the interior frame is the most obvious one to me) but it should do nicely as an inbetween before "real" ones start to make the rounds.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Hey guys,
I'm trying various painting methods of a latex
cast of a Spawn bust. I cast this from a mold that i bought from
the original sculptor. The mold was broke into pieces :cry during shipping and this is the result of alot of repair work. I'll share this experience at another time.
Thanks

Re: What's on your workbench?

I'm working on screen accurate Wolverine claws from X-Men the movie. Man, is this project harder than I thought it would be.

But hopefully in the next 90 days I'll have an affordable run of these for everyone who wants Wolvie claws!!!!

Re: What's on your workbench?

Working on the internal structure for a life size Monsters Inc Sulley. Head, arms feet and tail done. Now its the main body and popping the fur on the body. Tried to duplicate the original structure, but thinking now I may just make a totally new one. Have been doing the debate of complete duplicate restoration for something a bit nicer, going the latter now. Finished the Mike figurine and now looking at possibly customizing a new base as well. They did so at the Pixar campus and it looks really nice the way they did it. Weighted the feet so there is no need for a stand to secure it. About one month left to finish it up completely and then figure out where I am going to pop it for display in the house.
