What's on your workbench? (no Star Wars, Marvel or DC stuff)

Re: What's on your workbench?

I am currently working on a 75% scaled Ghostbusters Proton Pack for the wife.

That's very cool!

On my workbench at the moment: Revell Routemaster, 3 Tamiya Minis, Revell Boeing 737-800. My room...

We've got quite a bit on our "benches" at the moment. Probably the biggest and coolest are an original 1:1 Vermithrax Pejorative head used in Dragonslayer, in for repair and display -

We're doing some touch up and reassembly on the piece, and creating a custom mount and neck for it. Going to be a HUGE and really killer display!

We've got more pics of this (and quite a few other current projects) on our Facebook page if anyone wants to join us over there. Just give our photo galleries a look...

Thanks for looking :)

I'm working on "the model room" but will return to the model bench tomorrow to finish the Probe Droid! Freshening up the paint, added shoe molding, new furniture. And the LED lights from Ikea are now WARM whites!

Ok Tom wins!!

Thanks Bill, love the gif! LOL :)

How big is the trophy wall mount for that thing?! :lol

Big! The head extends out from the wall nearly 8' and is about 5' tall including the fins. The neck we've made will hide the welded mount, the "trophy mount" on the wall will be more of a "bursting through a wall" sort of thing. Seemed appropriate! :D

Doing some metal fabrication on my workbench. However, this is NO prop. This is my custom CQB AK47. I'm working on accurizing it's quad picatinny rail system.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Currently on my workbench is a Nerf based PR. I'm just working on the electronics for an integrated battery and charger circuit (with led charge status indicator) for the FX display module:

This is what it looks like with just the one LED, there are four altogether:

Re: What's on your workbench?

Not sure if it's been answered yet....
M7 Sub-Machine Gun from Halo

Father, I often take it for granted that my penchant for sarcasm and irony are known far and wide. I've made many a HALO weapon in my tenure here... I was just being a bit silly in that post. :D

That particular gun nearly cost me my left thumb so Ive always cast a wary eye at that gun whenever I look at it. :confused

Re: What's on your workbench?

I really did not like the cheap vinyl cover that came with my sewing machine, so I made a new one for it.

To make sure it does not suffer the fate of most redshirts, I made it an officer.
