Re: What's on your workbench?

I'm still making my Ironman mess:

Then there's this big lizard thing I've started on:

That may end up being my most insane build ever. Provided I can make progress on it.

How are you going to wear that suit ? ;)

Re: What's on your workbench?

Here is what is on my bench-- I have the National Manager from the Smooth-On corporation coming in next week to do some filming, photographing and interviewing so they can use it for their national advertising.

So I have to do a few things in the area of the Forton MG as well as lifecasting and such. They sent me LOTS of materials as a thank you

Way cool!!!

Re: What's on your workbench?

I'm not a big Doctor Who fan, but I'm going to guess that is either a Tardis or the most awesome vacuu-forming machine ever!

Re: What's on your workbench?

Thanks. :lol

That sounds as if i would never have paintsplotches, resindrips, sanding dust or the other stuff. :confused

I do, really - i just clean my bench every few days, otherwise i wouldn´t find anything anymore. :rolleyes

Just this morning i cleaned it up, so these are actual shots:

My main workplace for next to everything, from scratching and glueing modelkits to assembling props
Workbench002.jpg

this place is most of the time used as a kind of universal storage - parts, tools, blueprints, ....
Workbench003.jpg

Next the workplace for the more dirty stuff, as sawing and filing metal
Workbench004.jpg

(The big parcel is yours, your parts are ready :love)

Then the storage for parts and in-progress blasters/props
Workbench005.jpg

Here we have the paint area - look, paintsplotches :)
Workbench006.jpg

And last, the area where i do resincasting/moldmaking, and flat sanding. The big 12mm security glass-slab is perfect for such work

As i said, i just cleaned it. Usually it´s a little bit more messy (OK, not that much more, but more). ;):D

The machine room is more dirty :cry

I cleaned it too, to be prepared if i buy the new lathe this weekend, to be ready to set it up - and then this stupid me decided to put a arbor saw in the mill, to saw some alu blocks for making GK-grills. Welllllllll, to saw alu you need to use lubrication/cooling ...... on a rotating tool ..... :behave

That is an AWESOME workspace. There is actually a thread set up just for workspaces/workshops. Please share yours there!

Re: What's on your workbench?

My bench is always messy, but I finally cleaned up enough to snap this!

Another run of Isolinear and Optolythic Data Rods.... and a little something else just for fun!:devil
