What movie items do you use in your day to day life?

So, until Covid hit, I used my Hyundai Iron Man Kona every day. My daughter has a cloak from "Salem" which is decoration for part of the year, and wearable for the fall. The bowling ball from "Mystery Men" is still waiting for my husband to get the holes drilled, then he'll use it every chance he gets. LOL

I have Dennis Nedry's Casio watch from Jurassic Park that I wear every once in a while. Mine isn't the screen-used one of course, but it's the same model.

Back in February, I bought a bullhorn from the 80s just because it was the same model used by Ivan Reitman (and Bill Murray) during the shooting of Ghostbusters II.

At the time, my wife made the typical comment of "What are you going to do with a bullhorn?"

Well, when my youngest son graduated high school about two weeks ago, I carried the bullhorn with me and kept it at my feet in the bleachers the entire night.

I remembered how chaotic it was after my older son's graduation had been in 2017, every family trying to find their own needle in the haystack of hundreds of bodies. (I was impressed by the one family that brought a giant cutout of their kid's face so they could hold it over the head of the crowds and all of their group could navigate to it.) I felt like we wasted a lot of time going in circles trying to spot my oldest.

I only needed the bullhorn once. We were walking past kid after kid in blue cap-and-gowns. Then I saw him at a distance and simply said his one-syllable name. "Zak." His head whirled and he spotted me.

It made it totally worth it to have kept up with the thing the entire night.
