What cool gadgets could you realistically put in a Q watch

about the only thing i have seen added to a wristwatch is a garrote.

the winding wheel was the grip, and the wire was twisted around the inside body of the watch, on a spring. when you released the wire it snapped back into position.

nifty watch too. i regret not buying it when i had the chance.

I always thought that bond gadgets were more fun when they were more believable, and unless Bond were giving a powerpoint presentation, any laser that could fit in his watch woould be pretty useless.

That sounds like a totally different movie.. :love

Ah, there we go. Laser pointer in the watch. :D

"Take THAT, Goldfinger." "Aaaugh. I'm blinded. I'll get you for that, Bond." "I guess I'll be... seeing you then." :lol

In a 'concealed weapons'-type book I saw a watch fitted to fire a single .22 round. Yeah, the watch worked too. But seeing how tiny electronic clock movements have become it would be easier making the watch function as a cronometer too.

I'd like to see an accurately done garrote watch as worn by Red Grant (Robert Shaw) in From Russia With Love. The case design as well as the straps on the replicas I've seen are all wrong. The case should be thick with wire lugs, like a WWI Officer's watch. Likewise the strap should be made of pigskin and the movement should be a manual wind.

Perhaps a watch that acts as a scanner for documents...I know they make pens like this...would be great to graze over a document and viola, it is copied digitally to your watch for download later....corporate espionage at its best.
