Currently finishing my kitchen :thumbsdown then starting my bathroom :thumbsdown

Then I have a Cameron Oakley ROTJ Stormtrooper bucket to clean up paint and assemble :).

Hopefully be getting a bumpy cap TE ANH kit in the new year and think I will go for a 'move along' replica (with ear caps). Hopefully with the great new photos posted by Keith and Jeremy I can make a pretty accurate job on it :D .

Cheers Chris.

Hey Allosaur - yes indeed.

I'm also working on a Second Stab as well. ;)

Very nice, I have 2 Psycho's myself, and although they are all from the same molds, each one looks differnt in its own little way

When I was working on my Halo armor, I ran into a dilemma. Since I have to work outside, as paint was drying I was getting dust and flying particles stuck in the paint. I took an old office shelving unit, added a wider working top, and converted it into a drying cabinet. I added doors to the front, cut a 16" x 20" hole in each door, backed it with pegboard and put house air filters in the front. I took some old wire shelves and put them inside as drying racks. Then I drilled a few holes in the back and put a small bax fan behind it to draw air through. Now all my freshly painted items can dry in moving air but without the dust.

I started work on my R2D2 dome a couple of weeks back.

Other items sitting on the back burner:

Boushh Helmet
X-Wing Helmet (Dak version)
Tie Pilot Helmet & Costume

DomeProgress05.jpg

I am converting/customizing two Parks MPPs into Vader sabers.
I made new silver sidebars from scratch, and am installing fake bent nails into them. I drilled a hole in one MPP tube for the shroud thumbscrew to make it safer for wearing, which might have been a bad idea because it now rattles a lot more... so now I am working on the shroud: puttying, sanding and laying down layers of primer to build up the inside for a tight fit. I have also sanded down and puttied every other imperfection I could find on the shroud.. I just don't know when to stop. This is addictive. :p Some times I wish I wasn't such a perfectionist ...

Repainting an E3 Clone helmet
Customizing a Hasbro Imperial Shuttle with thruster and running lights
Royal Guard helmet
Han in Carbonite

Same thing for the last 10 years...Boushh helmet. Just can't seem to get everything perfect. Why do I torture myself.

I've started too many projects to count... I need to learn to finish something before I get side-tracked with another one. Some of mine include:

-Replacement grip for a broken Icons Luke ANH (damaged in shipping)
-Converting a flashgun to a Darth Vader ANH (one of my favorite classics)
-Touching up a defective Anakin AOTC FX that I want to have as a display piece without the blade
-Toying with the idea of converting an Obiwan ANH weathered saber to an AFBB version (I have the MR weathered version, so I'm thinking I'd like an AFBB one)
-A non-prop project: an entryway mirror that the Mrs. requested

Then there are those silly "real world" problems like replacing the oxygen sensor in the car and learning how to be a doctor...

Some things I'd love to do if I had the time/talent/money would be:

-Luke ANH reveal lightsaber
-Sculpt of Hogwarts (like the one Noble has on sale)
-A Luke ESB saber, I just love the classics from the OT... this one seems plausible if I can ever finish my others

Currently nearly coming to an end with modding my rubies helmet, Armor and shin guards will be next. modding another one for sale, and trying to make a Kenner blaster look passable. Hopefully will be trimming/working on FX trooper in the not too distant future.
(oh and rebuilding my house, does that one count)?

Currently working on my Rubies shins. Got all the slots cut for the new snap system. Currently finishing the flat black. Will be adding clear over the next couple of days. Will try and post pics when they are done.

My current prop project is a Grail diary.

graildiary001.jpg

The pages are hand cut to the dimensions of the prop and bound in dark brown leather... although in the pics it looks red.

I've aged the pages... thanks to a pot of coffee and a sponge. Next thing to do would be to write all the pages. Whole lotta work :confused ... but is fun :D .
