Okay, I know that folks are kind of guarding their WIP's for a bit but I figure why not share some goofball stuff? I had a couple of hours waiting for a few things on the Wooly Wisent to dry so I went and gave my heatgun an upgrade with unused and spare parts from my build.

A couple of these are recast parts that I needed more than one of for my build like the rear cone and the fin. Yes that is kosher in this case, as that got asked about and okayed earlier in the thread.

I left all the heat absorbing stuff intact and she's still fully functional. I get a stupidly large amount of fun using it now.:lol

EDIT: @ franz bolo. Yes, the trigger uses a simple spring to work. I forget the name but it's the same type as what's in a mouse trap.

Mine just arrived and I'm in the UK. I'm really stoked now and want to get cracking!

Shame I have to build my shed first - not allowed to grind, buff, fill, cast and paint on the new carpet!

Many thanks for giving us the xtra time. Mine is almost complete, except for a couple of tweaks here and there. It's the paint job that'll do me in. Also getting it photographed as best as possible. I'm guessing the resolution has to be the same as the thumbnails? This thing is almost as long as The Unnatural Selector.

Finally learnt how to use this interweb thingie... Rather like a typewriter but without the correction fluid....Although, I have heard of one woman...She couldn't understand how the word she was deleting on the screen was still being printed from the printer :rolleyes Oh Good Lord!

The Riteous Bison arrived a couple of days ago...all rather exciting, now it's the task to pull it appart :unsure Or do I?

Have decided to turn our hand Raygun into a Blunderbuss Rifle. Basing it on some ex-military English rifles we have at our disposal, and the lovely pics available on Dr. Grorborts modern contraptions that can melt a man! There's seems to be no end to the library of possibilities...And, By Jove...as a stroke of sheer luck it has a name brewing too. There is a plucky young Brahman bull who has a feisty temperament and he has become our muse.

The plucky wee fellow (all of 18 months old) was being transported by way of interfarm travel but he took one look at the contraption and refused to enter the craft. Instead kicking the pilot firmly in the knee, proceeded to jump as many fences as he could. Hazzah! What fun! The little fellow has such a pleasant tone of colour and a terrific spirit that we have been inspired immensely. It also just so happens that this chap has a name that for our purposes is bang on the money! Buckshot

Buckshot Brahman ..
The finer details of the spelling to be yet confirmed, variations and version numbers yet to be disclosed. No bulls will be harmed in the making of this gun but maybe some beauties.

Mine's just arrived at the office here in Melbourne!
Don't have a lot of time to get this thing going really. Just on 8 weeks...
And I have to squeeze in a house move and re-setting up the garage and finding all my tools again...:confused

Mine just arrived in Melbourne today too!

I haven't looked too hard at pulling it apart, as I am thinking of doing more of a 'homage' to the designer with a detailed custom paint job.

I have been influenced by the ray gun poster I got last month, with all the painted guns in the Grordbort "world", and I would like to try my hand at a one off painted gun.

But as I sit here looking at it - I am thinking not so much about adding to the outside of the gun with bits, but adding to the inside...
