VX Gas injection prop - quick build

VX Gas injection
I got inspired after watching the movie again (The Rock) so I used that and went to the studio.

I just thought this prop would be cool to have, so I made a master of the main body and molded it to make it in resin.

I made the tip out of aluminum on the lathe, it still needs to be polished and then taken down to a satin.

Painted the body and test fitted the small details and buttons.

Then a quick paint job on all the pieces and fixed together.

Then made some decals/stickers to go on the body of the prop.

Love the simplicity of this prop, a neat little thing to have on display!

My wife used one of these auto-injector for a few years to inject herself to relieve her Migraines. Good thing I saved it. I was surprised when I saw the film that they the same thing. --Ed
