UPDATE Halo 4 UNDER SUIT - ALL IN ONE SUIT AFFAIR

I see really awesome Spartan armours so im making it a mission to do an awesome undersuit (i hope) and i want it to be.... hefty . Just from playing Spartan ops you can see that the under armour is a all in one textured very slim badass looking thing. So i went and bought an old pair of one piece motorbike leathers that fit me snug.



From here i am waiting for my materials to arrive such as the textured cloth which will be sewn around shaped pieces of eva foam to make it look like the muscle and patterns on these under suits ! Ive seen a similar method used on a tight fitting sports top and it inspired me to do this all in one version. I've sewn leather before to so I am going to make this project my life and my wife. :devil

Reason I wear spandex under mine is cause anything else will get super hot!!!

That is a very good reason ! and a problem i may face :| i was thinking of either cutting really really fine holes for letting my body breath ! or possibly letting the parts where the suit has breathing holes, not do much to it. But i do live in the united kingdom and hey its always freezing over here haha !

Yeahhh its a real bugger ! Just abit annoying when your really in the mood to do a build yet cant do it just because of the postal service !! I'll drop some photos on here as soon as i make some more progress !

Abit of progress !! my foam came in the post, so ive been plotting out some of the muscle structure in the suit ! bit crude buuut its gonna be set straight when i stick over the fabric and plastic mesh ! more pics to come soon !!!!

I'm no motorcycle enthusiast but I can only assume that these outfits already have some method for ventilation, if only minimal anyways. As long as you maintain that you should be ok (my own Halo 3 spartan undersuit was vinyl and I regret it to this day LOL).

Cheers guys ! been working on it a bit more so ill upload some photos in due time ! yeahhh i am worried about it getting too hot..(it may well be the death of me this suit :L ) going to add ventilation where possible ! I was looking into getting a model to put it on so I could have it on display if it becomes too unwearable !

Evening RPF... i have a small update here, can only upload these pics as my camera has seemed to stop working :facepalm :angry But anyways the show must go on so here is a slight update.. ive added a few more lower ab sections... and they are not lined up in this photo which makes it look kind of awful but i assure you that everything will look better ! but yeah uploaded this to show im still in working on it !




Annnnddd here is the mesh i got for the texture... i like it .. its not a replica of the real undersuit which is a bummer but i think it looks pretty badass.. Hope you all like it and so on.. Finish college within a week soon so im gonna be free to nail this sucker down !!!!

Hey man ! just been finishing college this week and had a huge deadline haha making a halo helmet ! Gonna get some work done on it pretty damn soon when i get the sewing machine out and go shopping for some supplies ! be a day or 2 !

Started to use the heat gun on the pieces that i need to bend such as the shoulder pads , pecs and ab parts, a few burnt patches but theres no problem with it. The black material underneath is 4 way stretch and this is what i will be sewing over these foam pieces and then placing them onto the leathers! been a a bit slow with progress but hopefully gonna be picking up on this project a lot more (Y)

Hello Rpf. Ive Been tacking the pieces i have to the base shirt to put onto my leathers. It looks kind of messy atm but it wont finish like this I HOPE. the four way stretch fabric will be stitched or stuck over the foam then the whole thing will be stitched to the leathers to compress it all down!, still have the back and side sections to do however! Ive also just been wearing the suit as it is round the house and outside for a few hours or so to see how well it all breaths and its actually pretty decent and if i install some fans into the armour then i think ill be just fine !
