Yep. Or orange to match my rinzler disc. I think ill make the armor out of plastic and foam mats to keepnit realistic

I might make some molds and do a bit of vaccum forming,actually
for the armor? hmm ive never realy thought about doing a mold for the armor since its already got that rubber look to it...

i will probaly use ebay and get the red/orange kind sheet and wire

yeah not a bad call! I am prob gonna end up using more el tape or wire, and just one or two sheets haha
i might just make it where my chest lights up, then do the rest like the arms and legs with like reflector tape.

I think that the lighting on R/T is so minimal that it would be easier to use
SMD LED strips and power them with batteries hidden in the Disk mount.
Then you could even put white/orange leds in there and have the lighting
be able to be changable while wearing the suit

that is very true. and radioshack has lots of LEDs i could choose from (i just went there, theres like a whole section of LEDs!) and i do want it to be able to switch because that would be awesome.

I would suggest SMD LEDs not standard, they are much smaller but I don't think
the shcak carries them, could be wrond though

ok guys so tommorow im actualy heading to the barret jackson sale to find myslef a car or to atleast see what type i want, so i wont be working on the costume very much at all this weekend. here are my plans of what i have to do to the chest to get it done. 1. add more glue over the gloos/plasticy paint ive used just to smooth it all out. 2. paint it over with my matte black paint. and then the front amor should be done other than lights! cant wait to get it done!
i think i want them kinda big though, and the kind i got from there last time were realy small so i dont know i'll just have to ask them

The EL Sheets are cool, but in my opinion are far too expensive.
For most of the lit pieces of the outfits, EL Tape looks like it would work fine.
This website seems to have a good price on it.
