First post, yay!! <3
I've been lurking this thread since january e_e now it's time to post some pics and thank all of you, I was totally lost about my TRON costumes until I found RPF. You guys are all made of awesome!
I had to make both my bf's and my costume, it was hell! but also tons of fun! ...cosplay always gives me mixed feelings lol.
The armours are made entirely out of EVA foam, and the suits are made of spandex with detalis in mesh fabric (commisioned by a seamstress, I know nothing about sewing D:!).
The lights are all EL wire, used 4 pre-made kits of 2m white wire for Quorra with masking tape on top and 2 sets in orange for Rinzler. Other Rinzler details had to be made with glowsticks for the photoshoot (helmet, hands and leg detalis).
The discs were made from scratch since we were short on money, cardboard and gesso for the structure and 30 white led string lights for the lights (duh!)
