Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Movie Review *spoilers*

Watching Shai LaDouche yell for Optimuss over and over throughout the first two Transformer films is like listening to nails scratching down a chalk board.Once or twice was enough.

I can't be bothered to read through pages to see if this was allready posted, so here goes:

Topless Robot's Transformers 3 FAQ - Topless Robot

That's... wow. I let myself get outvoted yesterday, and a bunch of us went to see Cars 2 rather than Transformers 3. If half of that blog is accurate, I definitely saw the better of the two movies. And I really don't care for the Cars franchise all that much (at least as compared to the other Pixar offerings.)

Paramount's already talking Transformers 4 and rumors are that Jason Strathom is on the list of potential leads. Well his other movies prove he'll work in bad movies cheap so it'll save them cash lol.

Frank Welker is an awesome voice actor... But Station from Bill n Ted, Rahzar from Turtles, and the movie version of Soundwave all have the exact same voice.

Soundwave laughing at the "trophies" had me giggling cuz that's the same laugh Rahzar uses when he bangs Tokah on the head with a bar

Which is a shame as Welker has such a huge range of voices though his G1/TF Prime megatron doesn't sound as good as it did but after 40+ years of voice acting things may be getting hard to do.

Soundwave does need his vocoder/synth voice though. He did use that same voice for the G1 Soundwave and they vocoded it

So being a big fan of Apollo 13, I just kept thinking, the first part of the film would have made a great Space Exploration film all by itself! There was enough art and soul in the shuttle take off to keep me going through the movie.

Didn't Cars 2 have a scene where the German cars gas Mater in a boxcar or something? That just sounded like a bad joke to me.

Yeah....."Claw" from the 80s Inspector Gadget cartoon.... :lol:rolleyes I hated that overused voice effect THEN. I was so disappointed when I heard it in Transformers 2. But they were probably going for that 80s reference or something.

There is not any special processing done to Claw's voice. That's the talented Frank Welker and Don Francks doing their thing.

I was kind of bent that I had seen all the space shots in the various trailers already, though.

I didn't really say there was.:\ I just don't like the "Claw" voice effect he does- too recognizable as Claw.

I liked this movie hands over fists to the last one. Optimus finally got tired of the Decepticons and went bezerk... Loved the action and even more... Shia seemd to totally grow up by the end of the movie. I understand wht you guys are sayin about screaming Optimus... but it didnt bug me too much.. i didnt like it because yea... he is gonna hear you over the explosions and tearing of metal.. ok.

Just got back from seeing this with my daughter. I used a gift card and saw the matinee, so it cost me a total of $7 for the both of us...any more and I'd have been a bit angry as it wasn't that good. An afternoon for us too see the third film....we both walked out and thought it was alright....better than the second....best of the three IMO. The problem for me was that the theater had the volume cranked up so loud my internal organs were beginning to liquify. It killed the ending for me which I did like, but by then I had a full blown migraine.

The Xanthium is the Autobot shuttle made by the Wreckers... While Zanthium is a medication to treat ulcers and heartburn. Thought i heard that word before
