I'm down for that! My poor arrow feathers right now are looking wilted.
Was that to TheLadyNerd or to me?
Acrylic or enamel will work, but i tend to think that an acrylic would work better on the plastic of the 'talkies,

It was to anyone who knows the answer. I think Ember originally wrote the post about painting her walkies though. I am going to San Diego Comic-Con on July 17th this year (only a week away!!) and I'm going to cosplay Lara Croft reborn. I absolutely love this thread. It has helped me so much. Unfortunately, I can't find the Timberland Charles Street lace up boots ANYWHERE. There is 1 pair listed on ebay right now in black and a sz 11 (which will not work for me
). I bought a ww2 shoulder holster because I thought it looked closest to something I could work with modifying. I seen you make some mention of guns. Do you know which gun she uses would fit into a 45 automatic shoulder holster without much modification (that is con safe)? You ladies/gents are the best!

Also, you were the one who weathered your holster I believe and you said you used browns/tans/black acrylic paint. Can you give any more detail as to the process you actually used to paint it on (ie:did you go for certain areas, mix the paints together or put each coat of paint on separately in different applications)?
How fortuitous that we should meet... I in fact used a WWII shoulder holster myself for my reborn holster!
There are three guns that are used throughout the game. The first is a USGI M1911A1 with wood grips. This very quickly gets replaced with a Beretta M9, also with wood grips (which in the game looks very like the 1911, hence the confusion between the two of them as to which she uses) and the third is a Remington 1911R1 Tactical pistol.
What size Charles Street boots do you need? I have two pairs...
