After years of reading posts lamenting the lack of a respectable replica of this prop, Brenton has created a likeness that truly does it justice. In short, to those RPF members awaiting his second production run and anyone else sitting on the fence regarding whether or not they should purchase one, THIS REPLICA WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! It is both spectacular to look at and fun to hold in your hands. It now proudly resides in the spot reserved long ago at the heart of my collection.
Thanks again for making such a interesting and elegant movie replica available to the rest of us.
Sincerely,
deephx
I picked it up from customs today together with the Ra headpieces. All arrived here safely and in one piece. The Clock of Ages is truly a masterpiece. Top-notch work!
Thank you so much, Brenton!
I received mine a week ago ! I don't have much to add, I agree with everything the others said about it. It's really a masterpiece.
Thank you Brenton.
Oh, is there a way to force the top to stay in place and not go left and right when we open it? Maybe if I replace the pin of the hinge with something just a bit thicker ? Anyway, as you said, it's more something to display than a toy, so if it's not possible I will not take the risk to damage it. =)
The lid on my clock does the same but it is not an issue. Supposedly an artefact that predates biblical times and handled by many generations of the illuminati, the lid is likely to get a little loose.
