Hello, sorry to resurrect an older thread, but I'm trying to do a close-enough build of this prop and can't find some dimensions I need.
The Buffalo Filter smoke evacuation hose cited earlier in this thread has a listed diameter of 7/8" (doesn't say ID or OD!). Do the nonrebreather facemasks that people were using have a standard size outlet for that bottom tube? That measurement is never stated in the descriptions. Does the smoke ventilation hose fit the nonrebreather facemasks universally, or were people using adapters of some kind to connect the hose? My thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide. I don't know if it helps people, but a while back lonepigeon publicly let us know the greeblie in the one port is a cross-shaped knob, originally red, and not the cross shaped BOC cap. I can't remember the thread, there was a tight screenshot he showed us.
I think in the same screenshot there is a piece of the V8 engine as well, it looks like the arm of that FX-7 medical droid. Maybe this will help with dimensions?

This is the closest mask I could find in the uk. The hose just slips over the top. The part of the mask that connects to a smaller tube can just be pulled out.

I noticed you can get the original lever to close close to the body if you remove the plastic piston.
