Very nice indeedy! Where are you getting your fabric and trim when done?
What kind of support on the seat itself? A Spring setup or some kind of weaving?

Not sure if any of these lovely ladies are RPF'ers but I wanted to say thank you for letting me stand behind you for a few pictures once again. I never seemed to have my armor on when I could find any of you until then so I appreciate it.

Rabbit Hole progress! May be finished with it today! Yay!

Still debating if I want to add the netting under the lace-it's a lot of handwork to do. I'll likely not make that choice until I've got it all on for final fitting.
If the lace lays fine, I'll skip the netting-if the lace doesn't lay well, I'll add the netting.

AH! You looked great, and I wish I'd seen you so that we could have gotten some photos together!! Your armor is fantastic!

Awwww thank you! I LOVE that armor....LOVE LOVE LOVE! It was a ton of fun being chased by people calling out "Alice!! Alice!!" Very few people had to ask who I was although I did get several ask if I was Joan of Ark. One guy....and this is my favorite of all time.....called me Baked Potato Girl. Bahahahahahaha I need to get pictures of the skirt as my friend painted each scale I made to look like they have depth. Made a huge difference in the overall appearance. Still need to add the chain to the front and a few other tweaks but I suspect this will be coming with me to every con for awhile.

The tailoring for the bodice look absolutely beautiful, Skarlett! Fantastic job! Can't wait to see it all done :)

Even though I struggled with this at the very beginning, I'm happy to say that I've got my hat about 90% completed. Just finished lining it this afternoon and later this evening I'll work on the gold stitching. Used the posterboard and foamboard method and although it might have been the 'cheap' way to go about it, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :)

Before a spray with the green paint, the fabric used to be pink. LOL

Great shape to the hat there Kel! Looks good. Gonna be great once you get some of that gold stitching in there!

Thanks :) Getting the right shape was a PAIN but once I painted the fabric and it stiffened up some it came out perfect. As for the gold stitching, I think I'm going to go mad putting it all in there but it will be so worth it in the end!

its like you took the ThreadBangers Tutorial to a whole new level it looks really great so far

Their tutorial was a great starting point but it needed a TON of improvements to create something that looked like a REAL hat and not a cardboard tube with a lace curtain draped over it.

Very nice Keli, very nice indeed! :D

I found a top hat that I think I'm going to use for a base last night, but I'm not for sure what I want to do with it yet, LOL.
