Quick questions: How wide is everyone making the Hatter Hat scarf, does anyone have a really good shot of the flowers painted on, and how is everyone attaching the spools to the chain? Thanks!
I made my scarf about six inches wide, but I probably could have made it about eight inches so it would have draped a little better. Here is a photo that I've used as reference for the flowers...

For the spools for me, I just used 2 and 1/2" pieces of jewelry wire to run through my spools and then I bent the ends around the chain.

Hope that helps![]()
I like it, but it kinnda looks like the Wild West meets Underland... The brim needs to be cut down a bit dude... and the hat pins should be brought around closer to the front. The shape is good though. Did you do the posterboard method?not sure if this works but here is a pic of my hat

Thanks Keli! That's one of the few direct flower pics I can find....I just wish there was a shot of the full pattern. Oh wellI'll keep looking, and screen capping!
Thanks Keli! That is EXACTLY what I need! Now to hand paint a few flowers this weekend! Mwhahaaa....ughhh. Thanks again!
Hey kids! From experience may I recommend using fabric paint....! Be sure to put something on the backside of your scarf when you start the painting process. This way the paint won't run through the material.
Just a very important FYI! The images of the hat scarf from SDCC 2009 are backwards from the images from D23 later in the year.
D23 2009 picture: I would use this version.
