Hey Guys... Update Time!

Still not done but you can sort of see how it's shaping up... Please note that the tube my shirt is on is in no way accurate to my size, etc... and the armor will sit lower so it rest on my shoulders.. unlike these photos..

But you can sort of see the direction it's taking. I need to order more foam but I hope I have enough scraps left to finish up the chest tonight.

Also the chest will sit right and be proportionate and hold shape once both pec areas are done. I just wanted to show you guys something in case you were dying for an update.

Also the pec area that is there is not glued in place yet. Merely taped until I finish it.

Here is another update. Ran out of foam for the circular areas on chest.. however the rest has been built... here are a few ****ty, out of focus cell phone pics.. still a lot of work to do. But it gives you an idea of what it's going to be like.

Buy some foam. Start cutting and glueing away. In no time you'll have yourself a THOR.

Ha, ha thanks! I have the THOR beard year round. I feel weird without my beard. Yes I am using plasti dip... I was extra careful and kept all my seams as clean as possible to avoid any seams peeking through later on.

Can you sand plastidip? If we follow your model, i'm not sure how much i'd trust myself or my bf to get the seams perfect the first time (we're not experienced foam armor builders) - sanding would allow us a little leeway in refinement.
