The Wolverine

It looks like they're going to get this one right. The problem I found with origins was that they never did explain how Sabertooth went from the Origins version to the X-men version.

The kanji on the sword says, "not old, not dead, not destroyed"

Not quite....It reads, "不老不死不滅", which I'd translate as "Not aging, not dying, immortal" (滅ぶ horobu means "perish", so "Fumetsu" means "not perishing, "Immortal" would be as close as I could get in one word)..

"Destroy" is a little off, because it implies an external action, whereas perishing is something done naturally....So it's a touch off in that regard..

That would be a little closer to the Japanese for me....

Regards..

I don't think I've ever seen a teaser so weak followed by a decent trailer...

I was really iffy and now I can't wait to see it.

I'm an assistant kitchen manager at Red Robin and the company is doing some sort of cross promotion with the movie. I have no idea if it'll be some sort of product placement or something different all together. We got the gift cards featuring a silhouette of the Canucklehead and the front of the house (servers, bartenders and hosts) got new shirts. The kitchen guys got nothing. BUT, being a manager has some perks and I scored a shirt:

I'll probably never wear it at work or anywhere else for that matter. But everyone at work knows I'm the biggest geek there and had to have one. We have two new items related to the movie and if we're the best selling of the region, the entire restaurant staff gets to go to a sneak peek of the movie. Wish us luck!

Can you please let us know what it's like after you see it?

Our restaurant def didn't have it on the menu. Maybe they decided not to run it if it wasn't a good seller anywhere else

LOL Those Wolverines are horrible looking. I think there should be some sort of rule of having muscle to dress up like that. I can't wait for the premier, I'm going in screen accurate wardrobe. Haven't decided between the black suit or the zimmerli tank, brown pants, and wolverine brand boots though.
