Hi!
so im planning on making a winter soldier cosplay for my city's comic con and im slowly collecting all of the separate pieces, but i need ideas for how to build the arm. ive seen a lot of ideas on here that are helpful but i was wondering if someone could guide me through a step by step process because for the most part i have no idea what any of you are saying. please keep in mind that this is my first cosplay and i have a fairly low budget since im still in highschool and am using my own money. i mostly need to know the items i need to collect to be able to build and mold the arm and stuff. thanks.
does anyone know where i could find the belt/holster he has????

Speaking of which, for those who have made the mask, how does yours hold on your face? I'm currently thinking of a few ways I could do it, but I'm curious to see what people have come up with.
my first and current mask holds on via plastic buckle type deal, as well as a small velcro strap just to compress the jaw line a bit. i ended up having to add little loops for my ears (the red yarn) because otherwise the mask would slide down my face. so now it fits on like glasses would.

this was my first draft and i've worn it to one event and it held up well but it was impractical (couldn't eat or drink, ears hurt) i definitely plan to remake now that i have better idea of what i'm doing.
