I don’t remember if it was on this forum or on Facebook where someone reported their disc function sensor didn’t work, but they were OK with it since they always used the override option. Well, this happened to my tricorder tonight. The right slot wouldn’t read any disc I inserted. I went into the “Service” tab, then “Calibrate Colour Sensor” and reset the disc reader. It was a bit tricky and took a couple of tries but it works now. It’s important to follow the directions on the screen carefully when slipping the white paper into the right hand slot or you’ll get a failure.

That was probably me, but the key thing with mine was there was some kind of failure of communication with the middle board, it was stopping the Moire spin and light up and it meant the sensor wasn't working.
I have since received a replacement from the team at WandCo who were excellent.

With regards to your other question about the accelerometer, that is very likely related to calibration of the compass as you are required to calibrate it with a number of rotations in the 3 axis

Are any Amazon.de (Germany) buyers actually seeing shipments of their orders? FB members are reporting their U.S. orders getting cancelled and being locked out of Amazon.de.

I just canceled my order because it would not dispatch to my area. It was worth a try though and I am happy to wait for it to come available on Amazon US. Hopefully by the end of the week or next week.

Ok - Trying to source a back up Battery - I know it's a 18650 - But is it button top or Flat? Anybody got a good one on Amazon to get? I wanted to charge it up so when mine finally gets ordered & arrives I won't have to wait 4 hours to charge it.

Thought it might be useful to have the dividers in a measurable format in case anyone needs to 3D print some replacements or custom mounts for other things. Apologies for any parallax issues, I tried to keep the camera flat down the 70mm line. No apologies for lack of freedom measurements though
