The Wand Company TOS Tricorder is coming!

That's encouraging!! I ordered one from Germany that should be delivered in two weeks but I will be interested in the Amazon (US) price.
Chris B said the Amazon US price will be $415 ($350 + the 30% tariff on the wholesale value) plus state sales tax. I asked if they will be Prime but got no answer, but as its coming from Amazon I imagine it will be free or not much.

I checked a while ago--every single Wand Co. item I could find on Amazon US, including all their Fallout stuff, the Pokemon balls, all of it--was Prime. If it isn't, the tricorder would be pretty much the only Wand product that wasn't.

Here is a quick .STL of the Tricorder Center Divider. I do not yet have a Tricorder to test this with. One difference is the thick scanner support rib raises above the face of the divider and not centered as I assume the injected part was fabricated. Also I have not added the tabs as I do not want anyone to damage their compartment if I have made any errors. I would ask for any and all feedback on the current version.

Yah,

I expect it will be prime, but we won't know until the tricorder goes on sale or Chris answers.

As an end user of Amazon everything seems very fast and efficient, but based on the time it is taking to get the
trics loaded into the Amazon system I'm guessing that a lot has to go on behind the scenes to get it listed.

I've touched on this before, but which fulfillment centers are the trics going to? Amazon has over 1100 fulfillment centers in the US.
If 3000-5000 have made it to the US are they sending 3-5 trics to each center? That will take a long time, and would be inefficient for Amazon.
Chris B has said that the tricorder certificates we signed up for 5 years ago have given them an idea of where we are in the US and I'm sure Amazon has a very good idea of our buying habits. I've had the Amazon tricorder link open on my computer for days now, I'm sure they know that.
I also expect that Amazon will ship more tricorders to dense population areas.

Anyway I hope we can all find out soon.
