The Video Game Thread - anything and everything...

I've posted some Chrono Trigger stuff in here before, although not sure how many fans of the game there are....but, just finished this video that I had been planning for a few years now. Glad to get another project finished.

If anyone enjoys the Bomber Crew and Space Crew games as much as I do, the creators just announced the next installment, Badlands Crew.

Just saw this posted.

I haven't owned a main Nintendo system since the N64. Although did have DS, which got stolen.
I need to eventually get a Switch and catch up on some games.

Still Super Mario Wonder and the Super Mario RPG remake coming soon too.
I would get a Switch just for Mario RPG remake, as I've played the original SO many times.
But Wonder does look really good. And then with Sonic Superstars, both games have that old school 2D feel, but pushing to innovate the past games. Its like the 90s when they were rivals. They need to come up some some new fresh ideas but thats still familiar. Hollywood could learn from this....or can they?

They’re already talking about the Switch 2 for a 2024 holiday release. As long as it’s backward compatible, which I’m sure it would be. There’s also the rumour of a PS5 Pro at the end of 2024 as well, so I’m saving now.

Wanted to play some TMNT2 on NES, and my NES isn't working. No power at all. I read it could be a fuse, but could also be something totally different. Thats a bummer.
My roommates son just started college yesterday to get a degree in learning how to work on electronics....so maybe he'll be able to fix it eventually.

Thankfully I have the Cowabunga Collection version on PS4, so turned off any cheats, set it to 2 player mode, let the 2nd player die for more point (sorry Mikey) and got to the part where enemys respawn non stop.

So here you can rack up points forever, earning another life every 200 points. Every enemy, even bosses worth 1 point. As a kid on the NES, I would spend 2 or 3 hours here. Today, only spent about 1 hour.

So I finished the game with a nice 1769 points. On an average 1 player game, you finish with around 750 points.
So just posting some of my ridiculousness I like doing.

Hands on preview of Space Marine 2

Also Battle Brothers creators debut trailer for their upcoming turnbased strategy game Menace

Blasphemous 2 also releasing tomorrow. There is a pre-order discount in effect on PSN right now is anyone is interested.

Anyone interested in Starfield? I’ve not played a game on release day since GTA 5, and I’m really looking forward to this one. Inevitable bugs and all, LOL.

Honestly, I need to get off my butt and research if the flight portion is HOTAS supported or not. Has anyone heard?

I'm going to get it, but I never do anything at launch. I'll at least give it a couple of weeks, if not months, to work the worst bugs out, especially for anything from Bethesda.
Most games now arnt really "complete" until a year after release given all the bugs and updates. And this is Bethesda we are talking about.

I dont know if its going to be a good game eventually (Bethesda has been pretty good in that department) but its going to be buggy on launch.

I saw that Sea of Stars is finally coming out next week.....and right as I'm trying to get this new job at Amazon. I'll wait, for one, if there are any issues with the game so they can fix them, and also probably not best to be all distracted with a new game while also trying to start a new job.
