But yeah, I agree with what you posted, just had to use that quote sometime...:lol

Someone who works for Lucasfilm will have a plan and have the masters for the original OT they had to get before adding additional effects to them
What matters to me is what I get out of it, and what I got out of it till the SEs in 97 is gone now.
Illegal? Don't we have enough frivilous laws on the books? :rolleyesWhat I think should be illegal is to sell a new edition of a movie without labeling it as a new edition. The 2004 box set was labeled as the "Special Edition".
First, It is not gone. :rolleyes You can still watch the OT in its original form.
Picasso painted over his own work because he didn't like it enough. It was his business, not ours.
All you freaks calling for a boycott... You can do what ever you want....
My take? I have all versions. Grew up with them all too... from a7 year old at the first release of SW, to skipping school to see ESB... I own the originals, as I'm sure you all do too.
Good for you.
But, you know what? I love ALL the additions. I love all the bad and the good.
Ya see, I'm growing with the changes. I've see children's eye light up with the prequels. They are the new generation.
And I cannot WAIT to take these Blu-Rays home to introduce them to the OT, with ALL THE CHANGES.
Sorry to burst a billion bubbles, but.... SW grows. The new fans are as young as we were back then. They deserve the changes and will (hopefully) eat them up to go along with the prequels
