The Ninja - Star Wars Vintage Parts Hunting & Props - UPDATE - Hunting Box from the UK

Vintage R.A.F. MPP Micro Technical S92 Ground Camera Kit + MPP Microflash + Timber Transport Case 14A/4662

I finally got around to repairing the S92 Transport Case that was damaged and required many of the timber panels & joints to be glued and nailed.

Also looky looky close at the photo of the Case Lid Divider Closing Latch, its the same style latch used on the ROTJ Vader MoM / DV6 saber build.

EDIT:

If there is any confusion, please allow me to clarify, the intention of my post was to show that I had found a similar style of vintage Double Ball Latch used on the ROTJ Vader MoM / DV6 build inside the Lid of my R.A.F. MPP Micro Technical S92 Ground Camera Kit Timber Transport Case 14A/4662.

I was not suggesting that I had identified the part nor that the Latch I found was the actual Latch used by the Prop Department on the build.

I only wanted to share that I had found a vintage Latch inside a vintage MPP Transport Case.

This thread gave me a stomach ache of jealousy :p What an amazing job Master Ninja! Since English is not my native language I really hardly can find the proper words how amazing this collection is. I hope once I can find the vintage parts and I can build my own Vintage Graflex TFA Saber and my New Hope Obi-Wan Saber  dreams right?

Vintage M95 Pouch

I recently picked up this vintage M95 Pouch, this one has a nice brown color plus the inner divider, the one thing I noticed was that it was made with flat-head rivets, I am guessing these Pouches were made by different suppliers in different locations with available hardware, nice addition to my collection.

Not to burst bubbles.... but I believe for the catch to be screen accurate it had a makers mark on it:

At least that's what I've been led to believe. I got one from kurtyboy eons ago....

Maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in?

I talked to elvistrooper last year and I remember him telling me the ones he found had a maker's stamp but the one on the saber did not?

It looks like a hole in the center to me? Unless that's a feature of the maker's mark I'm misreading?

I believe all of this stems from this thread and post here:

More details on the Vader ROTJ saber - Please archive

Lot of good stuff on the MOM there!

Vintage Folmer Graflex New York 3-Cell Flash with Clamp R.A.F REF 114A/63

I normally wait for items to be in-hand before I post, but with the interest starting on the RPF & FB I thought I should share, I won the auction for the Graflex with Serial Number stamped on the Clamp.

The Flash is in fact a vintage Folmer Graflex New York 3-Cell Flash with Clamp R.A.F REF 114A/63, (edit) this R.A.F REF number was identified on the Promo Photo saber and discussed in a number of threads, although the complete number could not be seen.

I have identified that the R.A.F REF Number 114A/63 is part of the UK R.A.F Graflex Type 1 Ground Camera Kit the same R.A.F REF numbers are allocated to same item in each kit similar to the R.A.F REF numbers allocated to the R.A.F. MPP Micro Technical S92 Ground Camera Kit.

Royal Air Force (Great Britain) Type 1 Ground Camera

This is the USA made British Royal Air Force version of the US AAF C-3 with Supermatic shutter, Ektar 127mm lens, later Graflex solenoid and the second model of the first type of Graflex flash. An Anniverary Speed Graphic from 1942.

Anniversary Speed Graphic. Royal Air Force (Great Britain) Type 1 Ground Camera. Standard WW2 black leather/black hardware finish. Kodak Supermatic shutter/Wollensak Velostigmat f4.7 127mm lens. Official military metal plate attached to outside of the front door. Quite rare.

oh you... I saw that auction at the begining of the week and today I really hated myself for missing it. I'm not familiar at all with this format of live auctions and just kept it my bookmarks thinking I had to remember it was selling on the 22nd. yeah well...
Well, one more crazy cool toy for you (y)

This was my first guess, second was a personal photographer marking their stuff. Excellent find! No bunny ears? That's a unique socket adaptor

Was watching the bidding and was registered to bid but I decided I wasn't interested in it. These auctions are easy to get caught up in. There was a 30% buyers fee too - something to watch out for. I want to finish what I have and leave it at that now, my days of collecting are coming to an end.

Alright this is unfair, you can’t buy all the best props. Please save some for the rest of us.just kidding. I’m glad this went to someone here.i thought those two pictures were gonna be the last we see of that flash. At least now I got to see the bottom of it. I was hoping to see two holes on the bottom. Even though it’s not a screen used flash it defenatly has a cool connection to a screen used flash. Maybe they were once together in a room before one went one way and the other ended up on tatoine.congrats on the auction win, really cool piece
