Has anyone out there ever made a helmet from non-reworked molds?
Gino has! as close as you can get...

Judging by all the helmets Gino has ever shown, they are from reworked moulds. They are very nice helmets, but the face is lacking details found on the original helmet is was cast from.
For all intensive purposes,
What about the bumpy finish on the forehead of the face plate?
The original helmets that i've seen had the same bumps and ripples on the forehead of the face, that most original helmets have on the cap/back under and to the rear of the ears.
Keith.
But your moulds are copies of the one that touched the inside of the Brian.R helmet, aren't they?
There is something missing from the moulds (or altered is more correct)
because even on those recent helmets you put on ebay are not the same as the Brian.R original.
I admit that the dome and most of the face look spot on, but there is no doubt the original mould that was taken by Dan was altered and every helmet available that I have seen is lacking this feature.
Your helmets Gino, IMO are the most accurate 'looking'. I mean, they have to be considering where your moulds came from, but they are altered none the less.
