The new TK bucket

OK that settles that...

The 'bubbles' in the teardrop are also dampened by the layers of thick paint on the originals but they are on all the lids I have seen. It is hard to see with the grey colouring. This looks very sharp I would love to see a painted lid and then compare the bubbles to screen used then.

I take it that is a smooth cap helmet.

That is a very nice lid MR Laws :thumbsup

Fantastic

Cheers Chris

Can't argue with that request!

Oh, now that is a very nice specimen indeed :love
and I'm sure there's room in my collection for just one more :lol

details look very sharp, exspecially the tears and nose sections...
maybe a little too sharp for screenaccuracy?!
dont want to sound offensive, just asking...
did you rework the original moulds or is it a completly different mould?

anyway, nice helmet, Dan!
a worthy brother of your amazing TIE/AT-AT helmets!

Like I have said before you are intent in taking all my money:lol. I cant wait until this is available absolutly amazing work as always. On a personal request side please do an Imperial Navy Helmet, I would love to own one.

Wow Dan.. This is very nice. I must place an order with you as soon as i get the Snowtrooper orders.

Is this one of the 15 ABS helmets TE was offering that never panned out?
Anyway i have to say that is the best ABS trooper helmet i have ever seen!

A work of ART from the master craftsman himself. I will be looking forward to troop in this ABS bucket as a TD in due time.

I've been out of the helmet scene for some time, but, lately, I've finally started to get a little itch for a screen accurate Stormtrooper helmet. I don't want to wear it around, but just have one as close as I can possibly get to the screen used prop.

While this is a VERY nice helmet, it still looks extremely idealized when compared to the screen used pieces.

I can see that the eyes, teeth, the raised lines on the chin area, and back/cap areas have had some major reworking done to them.
That detail in the tears, although it is nice to see it included in a replica, really doesn't look the same as what's found on the screen helmets.

Again, it looks well made, but it would be nice to see all the actual flaws without any artistic license applied. Perhaps it's just me, but all the goofy little screw ups is what makes these things so visually interesting.

:)

Has anyone out there ever made a helmet from non-reworked molds?

That's a great question for a new thread.:thumbsup

Agreed.
