The Mandalorian (TV series)

Makes me think of a Bergman 1896...

Bottom of the group reminds me most of a Luger, if you made it with a flat bottom., But still with that big knob on the magazine.

Anyhow; at this point, I expect we'll see most of the star wars guns from here on out be inspired by antique firearms, since that's the established aesthetic, but not actually built around one. Scratch built from the ground up.

I am thrilled about this project after seeing the 7 minutes or so of leaked footage. You had me at Death Troopers.

I’m excited for Episode 9, but I think I just might be more excited for The Mandalorian. It looks incredible and feels very Star Wars. I’ll definitely be a day one Disney streaming subscriber when this launches.

I wasn't sure about the western/samurai style they kept talking about in the panel, but I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched those glorious 7 minutes (some screengrabs are still up!) and if it's that, I dig it!

I am actually excited about this and quite hopeful. It looks great so far in the leaked footage. I'm not sure about Pablo in the casting but he has always been good in the other things I have seen him in so *fingers crossed*.

Pedro, right? I hope he takes off the helmet every now and then. He's a good actor, so why waste him behind a mask?

The mainbody of the Blaster looks more to the Bergmann-Schmeißer No.1 1894.

The Hammer is more of one of those many C96 Mauser Varaints.

The Grip looked like been based on an existing Gun at first. But i expect they are more of a custom-design to make the prop more bearable with Gloves for the Actor.

It’s probably illogical but I can’t help but feel like Pedro is only voicing the character, we’ve yet to see anything of him without the helmet, and it seems like the casting came late relative to news about the shooting of the show.

In one of the videos, it shows him sitting down while they strap all the armor on him. He's almost completely done getting dressed, and had no helmet on yet. It's him under the armor for at least some of it. Are there probably stunt men or specialists for certain things? Sure. But Pedro IS the main actor portraying the Mandalorian on screen

This looks awesome! It's lead by the creative power team, so I expect a lot. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint because I can't wait for November!
