The Mandalorian (TV series)

Yeah, but they were there for a few weeks. He could've easily gone back and got it. He's a Mandolorian. He's going to want his biggest guns.

They say they "raised some hell here a few weeks back" I understand they're talking about the battle against the atst. There is no indication of how much time passed from the moment they arrive at the farm to the battle. It could actually be a single day...

BTW Cara Dune is freaking BADASS

Going back to my previous point about who's in the armor, Bryce Dallas Howard said this about there being a stunt double & a body double as well...

"When we were shooting that fight just before, so much rested on Gina because Pedro at that point was on rehearsal for another show. It wasn’t like I was working with Pedro on a day-to-day basis, so Gina was the face of the episode. Working with Mando’s stunt double and body double it was exciting because Gina was able to do all that action and we could lean into it. That day was all about that brutal fight: Gina and Mando’s stunt double were just destroying each other. And then it gets to Baby sipping his soup and everything else goes away, all these amazing feats of athleticism and martial arts, and all this stuff just becomes Baby with soup and all we wanted to do was a zillion takes of how Baby was going to drink his soup."

Also awesome to hear that Gina is entirely the B.A. we're all thinking she is.

I don't think they were trying to make the AT-St look sentient. I think it was just set up to scare villagers and others more by having just the red lights more visible.

My guess on leaving the Razorcrest out of the fight is that it would be infinitely more recognizable. Seeing the ship flying around would definitely pinpoint his location to outer bounty hunters.

I agree.
I mean even the Mandolorian tossed a detonator into the thing to make sure the driver was taken out.

I see your argument. Some of the cases for Obi-Wan or Vader not remembering are pretty weak ones. Argubly, Vader did notice 3PO on cloud city, that's why he was being sent to the Ugnaught smelter.

In this case I give SW a pass because it's really the droids who are the storytellers of the OT and Prequels. It's R2-D2s story and not Anakins ;)

Obi-wan clearly said he never owned a Droid and doesn't remember R2. Vader clearly saw 3po in the freezing chamber and being annoying as usual and Vader paid no mind. Because of that, R4 and Anakin building 3po we're bad choices from Lucas. They are extreme contradictions to the OT.

The story being told from the Droid's point of view imo lasted for the first half of ANH and faded away. I don't get that vibe from ESB onward.

Quick question... did any “Good Guys” die in episode 4 during the final battle? I gotta rewatch it again but I can’t help but feel like the battle was obnoxiously one sided...
We know Disney is capable of showing some pretty brutal action on screen per Rogue One, and episodes 1, 2 & 3 were pretty on point in this regard, but the longer 4 digests with me the more out of place and “Disneyfied/cencored” it feels.

I'm pretty sure only Luke, Wedge, & maybe a couple of Y-Wing pilots were the only ones that survived.

EDIT: Thanks to Firesprite that pointed out that we were talking about the show. I forgot what thread I was in.

My apologies!

Not that I care to justify the prequels, but he said he never owned a droid, and the line was delivered similar to that open-to-interpretation way that Alec Guiness had that slight moment of hesitation when he told Luke "how his father died." Given Obi-Wan's penchant for "a certain point of view", he could've been simultaneously technically telling the truth and lying by omission.
