The Mandalorian (TV series)

Fair. I asked a male gay friend if I was overreacting and got a shrug. "I don't know. It's wrong, and we shouldn't stand for it, but we've lived with this **** since middle school, and have just gotten so used to it..." Basically, it makes him roll his shoulders uncomfortably, but he's been doing that at that sort of thing for decades and hardly notices he's doing it any more. That said, he also thinks Gina's gorgeous and was a staunch supporter of hers back when she was struggling. He didn't know that he'd jump the fence for her, but he can recognize her appeal.

I'll just finish this off with a general what to do than what not to do...

Now that I feel bad about. My gay friends have pretty twisted senses of humour but I don't like that a gay man who likes Gina would be offended. Straight guy and pretty much anyone else I don't care if I offend as they need to grow a thick skin, get over themselves, etc.

Tell your friend he is too cool and I'm sorry.

Not to anyone else. They can bite me, but to Gays who love Gina.

BTW I love the story about the Tuskens.

See any jokes about disabilities, special needs, etc. bother me big time as I am a Special Education Teacher but I know it is what it is.

Anyway thanks for the civil discussion. It's how we learn.

Now back to Mando.

BTW just to be clear I was not being sarcastic. I appreciate a discussion that is civil and does not devolve into nastiness and name calling. (y)

Okay I just opened my Hot Toys Mando and holy crap it is awesome. I don't have a huge 1/6 collection as I prefer life size props but dang this thing is awesome.

I hope Boba goes back to his classic Jedi outfit and then occasionally includes the robe on the outside. I want a re-built Jedi blaster or a ESB blaster as well as his speargun side arm as well.

And he better stay bad. He can be a man of his word and still be bad.

The late '80s were still an ugly time. There was that tween stuff, well before he came out, that was the sort of... "Do you like so-and-so?" "Sure." "Do you LIKE her like her?" "Well... No, not like that." "What, are you gay or something? *lol*" Because kids are often dicks. And then all through high school hearing things the speaker considered stupid denigrated as "gayyyyy". I've known several people in various places over the years who felt there was nothing they could say to it, so they just went quiet and tried to let it roll off them. Years later, activists started saying "stop saying stupid things are gay. That's insulting." and so on. He's totally comfortable in his skin and sexuality now, but it took a bit to get there.

Ok I can get that maybe someone could talk to Tusken Raiders, but what happened to when they just wanted to kill or capture then kill everyone?

Personally, I don’t see the appeal in a Carano Dune spin-off show. I appreciate her character on The Mando, but at least for me it’s not enough to support her own show. Her own spin-off show would only be more appealing than a hypothetical spin-off for those two x-wing highway patrolmen. If there were to be a spin-off from The Mando, I’d rather see Boba Fett or maybe Ahsoka.

I want a spin-off about these two:

I imagine they went to Imperial Academy together, were roommates etc.

Ok, a Greef bounty guild spinoff would be awesome. This just reminded me: Carl voiced a guy in the videogame Mercenaries, which was made by LucasArts, and he played the guy who hired the mercs! Wow it took me over a year to make that connection!

I guess we can assume that Harvey Dent didn’t die in The Dark Knight, because he didn’t fall nearly as far as Maul or the Emperor, and no one even cut him in half! Can’t wait for the next sequel to Die Hard, where they reveal Hans Gruber, in fact, survived his fall off of the skyscraper, because a fall alone never killed anyone. Elsa Schneider is just hanging around at the bottom of a crevice waiting to be found, clutching desperately at the grail. Come on, everybody, let’s brainstorm what other characters we can make up excuses for as to why they’d still be alive!
Nothing to see here. When I clicked reply, I didn't realize there were 4 pages after this one. Carry on.

I tend to agree. That's why I like my Charlie's Angels idea or her and Mando hooking up.

What is it with Star Wars and never seeing anybody happily married?

The thought that a happy couple is a boring couple is so far from not true it's not even funny.

Plus someone in Star Wars not turning out to be a bad husband and or father would be a nice change.
