The DEFINITIVE TDK Joker Costume Thread/Project

Might be a little OT but I just watched White Heat and James Cagney(as Cody Jarrett) is wearing "Joker" gloves.
This is also a great movie for getting in to the Joker character.

I always thought that Ledger was doing a semi Cagney/Capote inspired Joker. I'll have to go back and revisit White Heat. Thanks for the information!

um..didnt know if anyones found this but this seems to be the company that made the jokers scars for the dark knight. You cant buy them. all they have is expensive how-to manual things. the website is siliconeprosthetics.com
and in a preview of one of the how to manuals they have pictures like these...

I think I know the EXACT process well which is necessary to do these scars. If you want more information you can drop me a line...

No need to spend 200 bucks on such thing.

Maybe I'll do a tutorial here. There are other ways than a silicone prosthetic, although doing it in silicone isn't that hard, there are a ton of tutorials floating around the net for doing small silicone prosthetics.

The problem with silicone prosthetics is, that u never can get the flashing so flaw and seamless even if u are experienced with molds.

The method I know doesn't involve silicone and there are literally NO seams visible, even without further application of skin illustrators or make up.

cheers

Hey skynet, I offer a decently accurate sculpt in Silicone, Latex, and Bondo-Transfers. The transfers are very simple and easy to use and the edges blend away seamlessly with just a little 99% alcohol. Only problem with the transfers is that they're a one time use... If you want some hit me up.

No problem, Lforigno. Its the little things, like the weathering, that make a big difference I find. Again, amazing job.

Lforigno Your stuff looks great man. Excellent job on the weathering.

thanks alot I appreciate all of the feedback guys. I am actually going to be listing everything for sale on this forum once I have been a member for 90 days. I hope everyone has a great holiday.

Wow, really? I'm still upgrading mine. I'd like to upgrade my joker over coat and blazer to the magnoli ones.

Ya....Considering I did the suit in '08, mine needs to be upgraded as well. I'm sorta hoping to have new pants and a vest by Free Comic Day, but I may put the money towards a diffrent project. It just depends on how much money I get tomorro. :lol :p ;)

Just finished the prototype for our new screen accurate Joker Suspenders!

Hopefully should have these added to the site late January.

Kind regards,
