The DEFINITIVE TDK Joker Costume Thread/Project

I got a few of mine from there as well......I think (key word think) that someone did a mass upload of all the higher resolution shots of all the characters. Let me see if I can find it, and I'll post the link. I have just the Joker ones, and a few Gordon ones...But someone is hosting them all somewhere me thinks.

The original scource took them down, so people who saved them were lucky. I guess some people just visited the posts they made, and never bothered to save them. :wacko

Jodo I have all of them and more. If someone could show me a way to upload them all, I would. Its almost 700 mb worth.

Every picture helps - I hope you can figure out a way to upload them all and share them!
Here is where I am at with my scars; I have decided to modify my original sculpt of the left, keeping some of it's height because the police uniform photos really show how beefy the scar is. I also modified the right scar and done up a center lip scar.
Since this is the first time I have ever done anything like this, including molding and casting, I am going to rest on my current designs until I learn more about them AFTER they have been cast.

Right scar looks great! The bumps on the end in particular look much better.

Whats your email? I will try to get all these pics up for you. Worse comes to worse I'll burn a cd and mail it. Like I said I want the best scars available. Getting these right will go a looooong way in getting the makeup right.

Whenever i check out this thread it just keeps pushing me into wanting to do this costume myself.
Just love the resources here :D

Awsome scars man! I agree, the right scar keeps looking better and better! :D However, I think the center lip scar needs to be....let me think...Like, uhhh....Man...Well, in the acture angle part, there shouldn't like, that much of a slope. Or at least not that quickly. :) Liiiiiiiike this picture shows :

As for me, I had a chance to get my make-up one again. I've been itching to take a stab at the interogation style...And I proboly shouldn't of tried. I couldn't find my make-up, then I found it, but didn't have my better white I like. The dog barked, the phone rang, the cat does this, the other cat does something else. There was literaly something each second I had to contend with.

Which meens I'm going to make mistakes. Like the biggest one ever. (This is when I need your scars and guide that says "left", "right", and "center". ) Because I put the frakkin' make-up on wrong, and reversed most of my details. :cry I did an ok job methinks, but I'm just sssssssooooo angry that I put it on wrong. I mainly wanted to do the black areas, and wasn't realy worried about the scars, but it just meens I wasted some make-up. :wacko

So anyway...I meen, I didn't do that good of job anyway. It still to artificial with that type of water proof make-up. I need to get some new realy badly. (Like the acutual brands.)

Jodo that looks great! Not much else to say. You can use what you have done there as a start for any scene almost.
My screen accurate makeup is on the way. Don't forget the Redken Disrupt for your hair.

I think it looks good mate. Here's a trick, hook a finger inside your mouth and pull it back then apply your white. when you release you'll have the natural crease lines from your cheeks to your eyes. It's quicker and more natural then having to think about where they should go.

I'm making a blanket mould in silicone of my knife at the mo. I need something con friendly from now on.

Thanks guys!

Ah, that's a good idea! I was actualy thinking last night of asking what I might be able to do on the laugh lines. Each time I do it they come out looking a wee bit funny. That's a good idea, I'll need to try it next time. Thanks man!

I've been thinking about an event knife as well, are you going to do the entire thing, or just the blade?

might I also suggest using less red.
Put some on, then use a towel to smudge it off, leaving just enough red behind to work with.
The eyes look great - I have been wondering if there is a makeup solvent that I can use on a thin paintbrush to achieve those lines coming outward from the black.
As far as the middle scar goes, when I make the actual silicone cast, I am not going to fill the mold, but rather paste the silicone into the contour of the mold, so it will be thin enough to contour and 'slope' with my lip when applied - as apposed to a solid piece that was molded to the brim - that would not be able to.
Hope I am able to make myself clear - I have a hard time explaining things sometimes - I won't know any more until I get to the molding.

If you scrunch your eyes shut (one at a time obviously) whilst applying the white you will naturally achieve those crease lines coming out from under the black. I don't know if it's just me (shouldn't think so) but when I do it the lines match almost perfect to movie stills. I sometimes find you get a bit extra creasing but this is where using a brush to apply the white comes in as you can touch up to only have what you need showing.
If you feel the need to accentuate some of the creasing such as on the forehead, you can use mehron admed remover (or any makeup remover for that matter). I use admed cause I always have it to hand to take off the scars, but it's also an excellent brush cleaner/make up remover.

As for the knife, I'm moulding the whole thing. It'll just be lighter to carry around and won't stretch out the pockets of the coat.

Ok I am in the process of uploading all these images to my photobucket.

Keep checking there, it will be updated constantly. I wish there was a better way but I don't really know of one.

Theres probably going to be a lot of repeats in there as well, but that should be most of what I have.

Ya, I agree there is way to much red, but I wanted to make sure the could be seen, lol. They're just place fillers anyway.

As for the eyes, thats exactly what I do. Just some of the lines I need to use an appicator to do. I'm just not old enough to be able to have deep enough creases in my skin.

I think most of my shots are in my photobucket, but my album is a private account. So it would be quite a task copy and pasting links. :confused (One thing about it, I think they also get resized, so they'd be smaller than the originals.)

EDIT - Hey, you goy LOTS of doubles in your file! :confused

I had a funny idea - based off that picture someone did of the Joker photoshopped to look like Ronald McDonald.
I want to have a custom Ronald costume done up, and buy another Heath-style wig to distress-dye red and do my standard Joker makeup and film a spoof of the interrogation scene, instead of Batman it would be someone dressed as the Burger King...
"Why do you want to kill me"
"I don't want to kill you! What would I do without you...go back to ripping off Wendy's...."

LOL, the king as Batman....

I've been thinking of doing a Joker-Mando cross over with my spair set of armor. :D Weather marks could be pocket outlines, etc.

Hey, speaking of which, anyone know what the Joker's arkham patient number was in any comics, etc.?

Im not sure if they kept his patent number the same or not - might want to check the 'Robin II' series from the early 90's.
