I still think on the right one the three bumps could be more defined. I think you are right about them being too beefy. Did you see the pic I posted?

You can see how soft the details are there. Its almost like the scar has no real edge.

Looks good! But I think they need to slope a little bit more easier into the flat surface. Like above, there realy isn't a defined edge "bump".

When looking at the shot of heath without the makup (the front shot) you can see the depth of the left scar - looks much more raised than in the side shots.
I have to find a happy medium - without actually studying the REAL scars in person, It's really just a guessing game to get it close...but not perfect.
I will try another sculpt of the right scar (hopefully my last) and another, more subtle version of the left.
I have to wait another week before I can order the Smooth-On products, but once I have those I can really get my hands dirty (And my face) with some educational experimenting.
I will keep you guys posted.

I bought a new pair of shoes last night. They're RJ Colt, and of corse they're not screen accurate, but they look good enough for the price. In fact, they look excellent for the price, LOL. When the girl asked me if they were going to be my "going out shoes", and I told her only partialy, I confused her. Then when I said, they'll be my TDK Joker shoes as well. She freaked out. She was screaming and evrything when I showed her my pictures. She freaked some of the customers out. :lol She even offered me a job. :lol

Wow - thanks for those pics! They will be really helpfull...
As you can see, that left scar REALLY looks much more beefy than in those makeup test shots. Could they have ammended the volume for the final design?
I'm still not totally convinced that the left scar should be flatter, despite what the test shots show. Every other picture I see, including the one of Heath's frontal test photo, shows that the left scar is bumbier than we think.
I live in Lancaster, PA. I would be willing to travel as far as Philly to have a lifecast done, but as far as lifecasts go, those scars would be custom molded to fit ME and for practicality purposes, I would offer flat-mold scars to RPF members.
I think if I can get a good set of flat molds done, I would simply sell copies of the mold - this would make it easier and cheaper for me and you guys could buy and pour your own silicone to cut down your cost.

Just did this up real quick to illustrate how adjusting the angle of my first scar gives it the right look (application is KEY)

I have since modified the scar to have a thinner line towards the end that tapers out wider towards the mouth.
I am going to bang out another left scar tonight, thanks to those pics posted, I have a better idea of what to do.

I deffintly agree, application will proboly be the key in seeing how they fit,etc. I have those ref pics., but I never thought to post them. :lol They're in my police folder, and I got the others out of my make-up ref. folder. :lol
